Great analogy! Pretty sad when a certain group of people want an enumerated right in the constitution to have restrictions out the wazoo while they also want a "right" that isn't even in the constitution to be totally unrestricted.



Furthermore, if a law abiding citizen goes out and buys a gun it doesn't mean that they want to end a life. Most law abiding gun owners sincerely hope that it never comes to that. But, if a woman goes out to get an abortion, ending a life is her goal. Again, insane amounts of hypocrisy on display between these two issues.

great fact about the differences between a person seeking to buy a gun and a women seeking for an abortion-the one seeking abortion is definitely looking to absolutely end a life. Now, I don't have an opinion about abortion being right or wrong, however, abortion is ending a life, a unique genetic profile , independent of the mother and father. That IS following the science .

I think if Republicans are willing to now go full liberal and directly criminalize individual civil liberties, then yes. I do think their next step is to introduce legislation to prevent individuals who are not natural born citizens to own guns.

You are conflating two separate issues. You are pro choice ( which is fine ) and using something that is defended by conservatives ( the 2nd amendment) to try to change their opinions on pro life , which is a bogus strategy .
