keep in mind, crude oil prices are not at an all-time high. Oil prices have been over $100 3 times in just the past 10 years and the gas prices at the pump have never been this high.

Gas prices are high because oil companies want to make more money. It's really that simple. Electric is one of a few fuels for cars. That's it. Like Diesel. Or CNG. Or Gasoline. No one is going to FORCE you to buy an electric car. If you want lower gas prices you should WANT electric cars to be around. Lowers the demand on oil, which in turn will lower prices.

Another option is support a government owned option: Call it "GovGas" which, like Medicare, can influence the private market prices. No one would force you to buy GovGas but it would probably be cheaper and made from oil WE ALL own on federal land. The private companies control the supply AND the pricing of oil/gas right now. At least GovGas would be accountable to citizens as the customers and not need to be driven by price gouging for more profits.

It’s right around the corner in USA …… Gas now costs $10 per gallon in many European countries. That’s due to high taxes, the invasion of Ukraine, and heavy reliance in many countries on more expensive diesel fuel.…. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY… PRINTING ENDLESS MONEY… WHICH DEFLATES THE CURRENCY AND INFLATES ALL PRICES. P.s the deflation of currency is the secret no one is supposed to talk about .
