The motion was put forth before their country got hit by COVID Omicron. In mid-January they were seeing daily cases that were unlike anything they'd ever seen. They tried to hit the brakes. Didn't work.

Their country is 80% vaccinated. They're getting a lot of cases, sure. But because of vaccinations, they're doing fine. Deaths are at a minimum.
