Communism is supposed to be the abolition of private property, wage labor, money, the state in favor of a classless society where workers possess and manage production in common. Nothing about this is antithetical to anarchism. The reason communist states have emerged is because Marxists and Leninists believe a “transition” state is necessary, for the proletariat to assume political power and from there turn capitalism into socialism then socialism into communism (the state disappears). Obviously that hasn’t worked out too well, and it’s why anarchists oppose authoritarian communism.

Anarchists instead believe in decentralization of industry and horizontal associations to establish mutual aid and meet the needs of all. This is why the Ukraine anarchists maintained free democratic worker’s Soviets when the Bolsheviks aimed to destroy worker’s control in favor of state and party control. This is why the Spanish anarchists did collectivization all by themselves and established their own committees under the CNT-FAI to manage defense and goods allocation all while the left-wing government opposed their activities.

You're acting like deaths didn't occur under Trump either. I'm not a fan of Biden and I won't turn this into a Trump-hating post, but Biden isn't the only person responsible for the mishandling of this fiasco. Sure, we knew less about the virus during Trump's presidency which allowed it to run rampant, but we had the understanding of basic virology, which unfortunately many people rejected (and still do). While I disagree with people who don't want to get vaccinated, I can somewhat understand the hesitation; people who refuse to wear masks for the good of this country as a whole, however, are buffoons. For people who associate themselves with the values of loving this country, they sure won't raise a dinger to protect its people. Just keep in mind that stupidity comes from both ends of the political spectrum.

Masks are not allowed by OSHA rules for even moderate exercise due to low oxygen levels when worn properly (which I rarely see).
