Probably due to "antibody enhanced infection" where a virus learns to use the antibodies from a different strain of the virus to, instead of neutralizing, enhancing the effects of the new strain. This is a really easy trick for a virus to learn if there is a narrowly targeted vaccine that is also leaky. Every "breakthrough" case was an experiment in seeing if we could develope "aei".

Either that or the immune suppressing signal we are seeing is true (it's probably true).

Or constantly flooding the body with antibodies isn't proof that your body is better adapted to handle viruses. Especially when the vaccine isn't the same virus incapacitated, but just a manufactured piece.

Antibody enhanced infection seems weird considering they said that people who had gotten previous versions of covids were better protected.

Of course they said that the asymptomatic were the carriers, then they said that the unvaccinated were more likely to spread the virus and have worse symptoms so it's no surprise when "science" seems to be as bullshit as religion.

AEI could still be happening because a person with natural immunity has antibodies for all 23 viral proteins. It is possible that omicron has learned to just enhance itself with spike protein antibodies and has not learned to defeat the other 22.

I know quite a few unvaxxed who are still covid free

Ah yes, because a vaccination is intended to eradicate all possibility of catching a virus.
2 ups, 3y,

Yes because a vaccine isn't supposed to stop you from getting the thing it's made for.

you're being sarcastic but that is how every vaccine has ever worked. to expect anything else is to be willfully ignorant

Your like the android for Blade Runner with implanted memories. Vaccines are supposed to stop you from getting the virus. Remember how you got chicken pox, small pox , polio and tetanus after vaccination?

You probably aren't old enough to realize flu shots are relatively new and were wholly unneeded. Don't base your knowledge of vaccines on the flu vaccine.

hey, thanks for pointing out points that i missed in my original post. i appreciate your info. i still think expecting the covid vaccine to work as a chicken pox vaccine is not very informed considering how technology has advanced, but i see how you could come to that conclusion

My problem is merely that I don't see a reason to use this new and untested technology when you can use an old faction vaccine that in the long run is probably just as effective. It's seems a bit fishy when the FDA blocks it from even coming here

Have you ever considered the possibility that YOU are the one who infected them?
Maybe YOU are the reason they're infected- bc you can't get a tiny little needle poked in your arm to save everyone around you.

So you think a person who didn't get the shot and doesn't have the virus is infecting people who have taken a double shot and a booster against the virus.

Yeah, that makes sense.

Here is the article

here is the raw data

Well, the raw data is at least helpful.

Preliminary reading through both the article and the data shows that...

The unvaccinated are still at a higher risk of hospitalization and death. I'll have to look over it again to see how one can conclude as you do...

However, I will point out that yes, those ages 60 and higher are the exception to this. Their the unvaccinated are in much smaller numbers which seems to indicate that while the vaccines are effective they're not very effective to people over 60. That would be a reasonable conclusion which is most disheartening.

Again, forgive me. I'm still consuming this and will happily take my time rather than jump to conclusions.

Look at the deaths in table 4 & 5, every age group 50 and older with two shots is higher than the unvaxed.

Table 3, hospitalizations, also shows every age group over 50 higher than non-vaxed. Surprisingly, those with only one shot is also lower.

Table 2, infections, 18 and older higher in vaxed than non-vaxed.

Now, one argument could be that these are total numbers and not percentage of the vaxed and non-vaxed population. Since there are more people vaxed than there are non-vaxed, that could also explain some of it. However, my opinion is that it shows the vax doesn't work as advertised.

Infections among the more active members of society, 18 and older isn't so surprising given we already know the vaccine is shit at preventing infections. So people with the vaccine had a false sense of security and then were much more likely to unknowingly spread it to other vaccinated. That doesn't necessarily mean hospitalizations and deaths were higher.

They are not percentages but they are fractions representative of 100,000 of the total pop. Not exactly total numbers. And yes, a higher percentage of vaccinated are going to eventually make the rates higher among vaccinated eventually if the overall rate of fatality and hospitalizations go down. But there are far too many uncertainties to simply shrug that off so it is important to monitor the data which is why I asked for it. Thanks, again, by the way. I know some people are a little protective of any data that validates that vaccines are ineffective in case I poke holes in it.

If you have data that backs that up, then it should be made public. Whether these are outliers or not doesn't matter. Outliers can become the norm if there is enough data. It's worth keeping an eye on regardless.

I wouldn't say this makes me rethink vaccines as safe or ineffective - but it does seem to hold water that vaccines are not very helpful to the largest age group that suffers the most from this vaccine.

Yeah- if you don't get the vaccine or booster shots you're gonna get infected.

Luckily not yet, but my friends who go two shots and a booster did get infected.

I agree with your name. It fits,

Vaccinated people are spreading it as well. Don't act like this is all being spread by only unvaccinated people.
