Sure, when your expectation is free stuff... higher, yet somehow unrealistic. Sort of like Biden's gas prices.

No, I meant I would rather eat ramen than turkey

Both dinners now cost the same. The only difference is good like finding the ramen when the shelves are empty.

Really? Dollar Tree's got 5 packs of ramen in stock for $1... Let me know where I can get 5 turkey dinners for $1 because that's a crazy good deal even if I don't particularly like turkey.

Also.. your memory seems to be failing you. There were plenty of empty shelves under Trump. Seems not that long ago there were actually a couple front page memes trying to stick Biden with empty shelves using images from 2020.

Well, Thanksgiving for 6, with a 15 lb Turkey with all of the usual sides, brocolli cass, greenbean cass, mashed pots, stuffing, deviled eggs, Cole slaw, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, chocolate pie, cost me $129 for all ingredients to make ourselves. Not bad for 4 days of food, IMHO!

Gosh, where the heck were you shopping? Got everything for our Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixins last year for under $70.00.

Some got it for free last year. Only took a few hours waiting in line the car for the mega instant pantry to hand out some goodies. Hey, it wasn't turkey, but Campbells Creamy Chunky Chicken and Krasdale green peas were better than nothing.

So soon people forget.

hahaha, last week here they finally stuck in the fridge and used my "Last prune juice in the world" as I called it after it was 1 of 2 left on the Walgreens shelf when I bought it last year. As long as they don't touch my last Welch's Grape Juice in the world that's up on that shelf still, all is good.

I haven't been going out to the stores...

You like the white or concord grape best?

Concorde.
Almost forgot I tried the other one when it was here at the house last year but forgot.

⚠️ WARING: The following may contain material that may be offensive to some viewers, please be advised ⚠️

In PR they sometimes mix one raw egg yolk with a tablespoon of sugar and then mix in Welch's. I stopped doing it when salmonella became a thng, but I hear free range eggs should be safe.
They also do the same with Malta.

I wish I could still drink the concorde but it upsets my stomach too much. Like the white pretty well.
PR?

Oh my, that's horrible.
Perhaps a Pecid or something before drinking some on occasion?

Puerto Rico, they call them things "batidas" or shakes.

I have tried those, don't work :(
Yeah? Ah :)

Don't work in general, or just for concorde?

Drink it on an empty stomach, or with food?

WARNING*

This tablet's keyboard keeps missing "i" and "n"
Yeah, "cota" was in there instead of "contain" for a sec. hahaha

Geesh, you've made this into a contest huh? Pretty juvenile, but here you go:
Turkey, stuffing, gravy, homemade rolls, potato casserole, baked yams, apple pie, sweet potato pie, cranberries, pumpkin pie. And since you like pickiness, I'll include the cost of the salt, pepper, sage, butter, the tea bags I brewed, the sugar, the whipped cream, paper napkins and by golly, the bag of ice.
All ingredients purchased at the following: The United, Save-a-Lot and Walmart.

Do you actually expect someone to save their year-old grocery receipts on the slim chance some total stranger wants to see them? LOL! Either you are a total narcissist or just want to see my receipts on the chance of gleaning personal banking information. I have never reported anyone on this site for suspected criminal behavior, but you have me very close to reporting you.
0 ups, 3y
Ypu aref**king hilarious. AMD a little paranoid. Report me for criminal activity. Good luck wi th that f**k shot, idiot! There is not enough banking information on a receipt....ha ha ha push the button!!

Btw, how was that left over pie sandwhich? Shit I could feed my family with 70 bucks too, if all we had was a turkey and three pies!!!

I saw nothing at all like that in Utah. But then I've been seeing all sorts of memes recently about empty food shelves happening right now and our grocery stores are all fully stocked. I have no idea what is going on. I was in Arizona and New Mexico about 2 months ago and their stores were fully stocked also.

Last Thanksgiving I was in Nevada and Arizona and their stores were stocked. It has been about 15 years since I was last in Texas so I couldn't tell you about Texas.
1 up, 3y
Yea, there was a little of that in Florida las year. This year, every store I have been to, has only had shortages due to to BoGo rushs by the couponers. Ask for the product, and they have it in the back, EVERYTIME!
0 ups, 3y
if we had rail transit as an alternative, queues like that wouldn't exist

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. What happened to all that footage from last year of Texans and Oklahomans and all the rest lined up in cars for 3hrs to get handouts because
1. They were broke.
2. There was no food left to buy because zombie preppers hoarded it in case this this was the big one and all those cans and tp could double as bricks to keep the dead out?

Exactly. But instead they choose to put their head in the sand.

In a poll, 29% of New Orleaneans said Katrina and the mess after occurred during Obama, even though it was two years prior to him becoming President!
