CRT teaches that even in the absence of present oppression, descendants of past oppression victims remain permanent victims. IMO it appeals to leftists as they embrace and advance 'victimhood mentality'. I think CRT should really stand for "Creating Racial Tension". It is all about pitting races against one another when equality is the law today and we are equals. They have decided they really don't like white people. CRT advocates don't want equality, they want equity which is more geared towards social justice and reparations. One should not overlook the Marxist ties to their theory although leftist definitions of it often omit the obvious. CRT is addressed in the article below...

NP, I am glad you are researching and learning. Graeystone was correct in his comment to you below. I remember seeing a black man on TV complaining about schools today teaching CRT to his children. He said, "They are teaching my kids to hate white people and my wife (their mother) is white!" Awkward!

I just think people are easily led and don't think for themselves to embrace this false scenario. From my experience, people were getting along fine without worrying about skin tone until Obama incited them and it has been downhill ever since....

The thing is, when you start teaching CRT in schools, the only thing black pupils will know about their history is slavery. They were oppressed, they were treated like cattle.
I already see it in practice over here. The other day I was talking to some of my friends about black history, and the only things they could say were slavery, and BLM.
