The Senate doesn't impeach. Anyway, with Dems in the majority in both houses, pushing the idea of impeaching P. Biden is a fool's errand and a waste of time. Why don't you worry about what your own team's doing, and leave the minority leader to us?

Also would set a bad pattern that I for one would like to avoid if Biden was impeached whether it was the right or wrong thing to do. The last thing we need is to have a president that does mistake that while bad isn't something that costs lives or a good chunk of reputation gets impeached.

All I want from a president to be a competent president. I do think Trump was a competent even though he made mistakes. However those mistakes weren't impeachment worthy.

Make more sense than pretty much anything Biden says not looking at his teleprompter.

McConnell just knows that they don't have a case. It's not more complicated than that.

Nobody. NOBODY. Should be using that excuse. I didn't even like it when people said "yeah but Mike Pence will be worse"

It doesn't matter! You punish the people who need punishment and the impeachment is the ONLY sanction there is for a president of the United states. Let the next president deal with a sour coalition in Congress that they didn't build and have less rapport with. Let them deal with the challenges of being a placeholder president.

When have you EVER heard a judge say "well, you probably did it, but if we put you in jail, the next gang leader to replace you will probably be worse so you can just go"?

You're comparing Mike Pence to Kamala? Seriously?

Great. But as mitch McConnell is aware, you don't actually have a case. So, go put that together, is your first step.

That never stopped the Scamocrats

Actually law encforcement does that all the time. They just make a deal instead.

The Democrats are in the majority so they don't have the votes. It's not more complicated than that. But after 2022 things may be different.

Don't give me that. After a 2-0 score on the previous administration's impeachments, they'd be MORE than happy to make a purely symbolic gesture to make the motions of an impeachment even if it wouldn't have the votes. It'd be free PR for them.

But they can't. They know they don't have a case. And it would be a major abuse of procedure to enact an impeachment, even a symbolic one, if they knew they didn't have a case. THAT'S why they're not doing it.

Hahahaha a major abuse of procedure! I never saw you complain when Trump was impeached after leaving office.

Oh yes, now that Trump is gone, all of a sudden the rules matter again.

Correct. In neither event did our leftists or Trump-Hating RINOs have a sane case against Trump and nor meaningful evidence or reliable witnesses. They had gossip and conjecture and massive scale examples of leaping to utterly insane conclusions . . . but they never had a case. The Left abused the Constitution in order to play politics.

As for Biden, through his rank incompetence as Commander-In-Chief he lost an entire nation to enemy forces while utterly re-arming them in the process and also visibly had at least one major mental incident on live camera last week. This means that he is unfit to be president -- which everyone knows to be . . . the . . . CASE.

Our leftists are what they are . . . as witness by their increasingly insane efforts to blame Trump -- eight months out of office -- for Biden's real time screw-ups as a Commander-IN-Chief.
1 up, 3y
Yeah but who wants to push the matter with the cackling bitch waiting in the wings. Could be the best insurance policy Biden ever made!

But yes. I've never seen anything like the last four years and the unhinged leftists and Dem politicians, like Mad Maxine. Well, it just proved that unless you're a political insider, and even if you win the presidency, you'll be stonewalled, smeared and impeded, even by your own party.

Oh and Trump should have fired every last Obama holdover on day one. The usual suspects would have cried but they'd do that anyways.

The fact that Trump did not clean house like most incoming presidents do, simply points to the fact that he was not an experienced politcian.

Yep, every incoming prez needs good advisors. Putting his son in law in there, while understandable, as most betrayed him, especially with leaks to the press, was probably his worst mistake. I gotta give it to the Dems. Up til now, they did basically support each other. When Trump was elected, it was like dropping him into a pit of Republican snakes.

To do that thesis, don't you think they'd want to be able to at least get the impeachment? After all, any political klown can submit articles of impeachment. But there's not enough votes for him to be impeached, so why bother? Well, not enough votes yet..

It would do nothing but waste America's time, dude. We don't have the votes to impeach and I'd rather we buckle down, focus on trying to govern, and work to win in 2022/24.
0 ups, 3y
Now people are getting it, just how deep the corruption is. Stop dividing yourselves, but unite against the common threat - your political leaders.
