Birther claims came from the Hillary Clinton campaign during the primary election. It was picked up by some but not all Republicans.

The bigger problem was that Obama should have not been so nonchalant about if. Even IF he was born in Kenya, his mother was American and lived here for years. All that's required is one parent be a US citizen and that they live in America for some number of consecutive years. I think it's 8 but I can't remember. Obama was qualified to be president.

Obama went to a black liberation theology church for years. Liberation theology churches, black or otherwise, are barely Christian. They claim to be but they teach the gospel according to Karl Marx.
