Fake news. My wife works in a hospital. Her hospital has had very few Covid patients and was empty for most of the last year because there was a moratorium on "non necessary procedures", because they were reserving the beds for the "infected"!
My VA respiratory nurse was moved from the local clinic to the big Chicago VA hospital at the height of the first wave and told me it was a scsm. They were working hard trying to inflate the numbers by bringing in nonveteran patients and couldn't fill beds.
It is interesting that most of the frontline workers that work in her hospital (doctors, nurses, and house keepers) that have daily interaction with patients, Covid included, refuse the shot. Most hospitals will not make it mandatory, because they would lose 1/2 or more of their staff.
