A half dozen? Wow....My 12 year old has more guns than that.....My wife has more guns than that in her nightstand. I have more than that on the gun rack in the living room.....I have more than that on the first shelf of the gun safe.... I have more AR-15's than that!

The first real question is, how proficient are you with them? Having a few guns doesn't make you a marksman. I can hit a deer at a distance that will have its heart stopped before the sound of the shot reaches it. That's the long range experience, do you train for CQB? Urban operations? Building clearing? Non-dominant hand/eye practice? Do you train wearing your body armor?....do you even have body armor? What about field stripping your firearms, do you carry the tools or commonly needed spare parts?

The second question should be - how much ammo do you have for those guns? Do you have 100 rounds? 1000 rounds? 10,000 rounds? The numbers I listed here aren't even close to what I have.

When the snowstorm knocked out utilities in Texas for a week - I had everything I needed. Plenty of water, food, fuel, alternative methods to heat my house....everything. We were charging our phones and the police radio scanner. My only complaint was having to check the fuel level in the generator every 6 hours.

Prepared has many meanings. If you can't think of one - you're going to be a casualty.

I'm equally prepared for none of the scenarios to play out - that would be awesome. Weeks long riots over the past 4 years, 45 dead in Chicago last weekend, accelerating inflation, morons calling a boulder racist....those things tell me that my time, money, and effort are being well spent.

In the event that my plans and preparations get put into action - you being unprepared only means that you probably won't survive long enough to truly regret not being prepared.

The government's not out to get you. Doctors aren't out to get you. The media's not out to get you.

All of that remains to be seen. Agenda 21 and 2030 - those are UN plans that the USA agreed to. Hospitals were being paid $15k for every COVID-19 diagnosis, and being paid more for every patient on a ventilator - this is easily researched. The media knew that "russian collusion" was a hoax, it's come out in their own emails.

The fact that you're not paranoid, in the face of the available information....well you actively avoid knowledge, so I can't say that I'm surprised.

It's a statement on preparedness. Semi-auto, revolver, lever-action, bolt action - hammer fired, striker fired - cylinder, tube mag, box mag, helical mag, single-shot - iron-sights, reflex sights, hologram sights, scopes..... You could pick any random gun, and there's a very good chance that within a few seconds I will know how to operate it. That gives me a tremendous advantage.

I was making a statement on the distances I can be effective. The deer will see/hear the car coming - my bullet will be a complete surprise.

When I think about the scenarios I want to prepare for, hair-brained solutions like "I just tape a bunch of phone books to myself..." never cross my mind. I wear my body armor to train because I want to be prepared for the day when I may need to wear it. The same goes for my wife, and it's a good thing we train like this because I found that she can't handle the same type of armor that I wear - it's too heavy. While I'm wearing level IV steel plates, she's wearing composite ceramics that cost 3 times as much but at a fraction of the weight.

This only scratches the surface. My hobbies include: my family surviving anything.

You never can tell - I've met "preppers" who think they're going to drink water from their pond, 100 rounds of .22LR is all they need, and that their freezer is a viable long term food storage option.

Even those with the right mindset make bad plans.

I've been watching the winds change since the late 90's. 2001 gave me the motivation to really start looking into uncomfortable possibilities, and the deeper down the rabbit hole I went - the more impossible scenarios started coming to pass.

UN Agenda 21 and UN Agenda 2030 are being implemented now. The US has already agreed to them. Plans are not only made, but are in motion. You've been sold out - you just don't know it yet.
