Fallen yet not forgotten

Kneeling protests those police who are racist against minorities. Most police are worthy of respect.
But all are disrespected when you kneel for the flag. That's too difficult for you to understand.

It has everything to do with the military. As a veteran, when people protest my flag, I don't care why they are doing it. You would know what our flag represents if you had bothered to serve someone other than yourself.

The American flag doesn't represent police officers, it represents America.
Only a fool wouldn't understand that.

Kneeling for our flag is disrespectful, You conveniently left out the flag part.

Kneeling for our flag has nothing to do with kneeling before the cross.
You would know this if you weren't an American flag hating leftist attempting to make an irrelevant analogy to justify your hatred and disrespect of our flag.

Kneeling disrespects the flag and country you and those like you hate. The military die for the flag you despise. Sit down.

Kapernick hasn't proven his point, all he's done is embolden criminals to resist. He helped create a racist organization that believes only black lives matter. Police officers put their lives on the line for our safety, and are targeted by criminals, the same criminals BLM defends. I do believe there are bad police officers, but disrespecting the American flag will do nothing to stop bad officers.
You're all for weeding out bad police officers, you said absolutely nothing about weeding out criminals.

You don’t disrespect the entire group for the actions of the few. Should all black people be demonized because some are criminals and murdering thugs? No they shouldn’t. Yet you justify it against police officers. To say nothing of the ACAB “all cops are bastards” chants of the left.

Taking a knee at the flag and anthem disrespects an entire nation who are not guilty. The left believes all are guilty by association so yes taking a knee to the flag and anthem so many brave soldiers of all colors fought and died for is disrespectful.

Demonstrations against Police brutality can be done in so many other ways but this. The standing before the flag is the act of honoring the flag in not just as it represents America in what it stands for, but all those who have given their lives for that flag.

So by kneeling, regardless of how small is a reprehensible act of disrespect as it DISTRACTS viewers it.

Would you do that before a funeral of a fallen Soldier or Marine? Why then would you do this before all?

You voted to be president an incompetent, racist, rapist, criminal con man who has a crush on the leader of an enemy nation, and kneeling during the national anthem disrespects our nation???

Then you don't know America at all.

America is not defined by its domestic or foreign policies set by fallible men, but its PRINCIPLES. That is such elementary learning that only a foreign would be excused for his/her ignorance.

America would be a bad country - if - its principles found in the Declaration of Independence, it's Constitution, and Bill of Rights laud the white man as superior over all, that its mission is to civilize the world after its image, and it has a right above all others to live so as to be assured dominance, but that's not what its written there.

The principles written in those three documents is what makes America great; it is those that our servicemen have fought so hard for, sacrificed and died so that we will all live free of tyranny.
What it does say is that all men are created equally before God, that no ruler is allowed to set laws without the consent of the governed, and that our rights are inalienable. That its citizenry has the rights among the many to overthrow governments if the same refuses to hear and redress grievances.

Yes, this country's people has made a lot of mistakes in policy, including many unjust wars fought, but those are the people... and NOT the principles the flag stands for.

So if all you know of America is the evil that it committed in the past and present, then you don't know America at all.
