I agree with the sentiment, but it's too late since the leftists; i.e., Cultural Marxists are now effectively in total control of public schooling and of most of higher education to boot. Plus they control what shows up on both the small and big screen venues of this nation and are also now essentially in control of the mainstream media. I would like to end this with a shred of hope for the future of this nation . . . but it's looking bleak to me.

Home school and control the media your kid consume. it's the only way to save them.

Eliminating public school is really the only solution right now but since that is totally impractical in the short term home or good private schools , and avioding the mass media are the best short term solutions.

True. I honestly believe that homeschooling is preferable to private school as it avoids many of the pitfalls thereof, but I was homeschooled, so i'm biased.

Of course not all private schools are great or even good , but if you were to take away public schools the poorest performing private school would have to improve or go out of business because of the increased competition
