Outsourcing constitutional violations is not a new idea. Think of all the. "Private" businesses that engaged in (before covid, when they weren't paranoid about every object they touched possibly being contaminated with the virus) unreasonable, warrantless, searches: theme parks, concerts, hotels, etc.
It's still a police state even when it's "private" businesses doing the policing (particularly under influence and pressure from the government. Facebook didn't start censoring people out of the blue. They were encouraged and pressured to do so by the government.)

The problem is that Facebook and Twitter claim to be open free speech sites but clearly favor Democrat/Leftist views while censoring Republican/Right view. That is called False Advertising.

Are they actually censoring free speech, or do they prohibit misinformation that's lead to death on their websites?

I'm waiting for ole Joe to show us the stats for deaths actually caused by "misinformation". I suspect he'll have to pull it out of the same place there's proof of his tough confrontation with Cornpop, from his butt.

The funny thing is they are actually the covid-deniers and the ones not taking it seriously. I point out contradiction after contradiction and all they can say is I'm denying it.

How about the prominent covid and vaccine deniers who died of covid.
And the innumerable stories from frontline nurses of covid deniers and anti-vaxxers dying from covid.

You don't need to protect speech you don't like. And there is ZERO evidence anyone has died because of what Biden calls "misinformation". And much of the "misinformation" from a few months ago has been proven to be true.

And yet over 90% of American covid deaths are unvaccinated, and your conspiracy theories are STILL conspiracy theories.

Did it cross that walnut brain of yours that the 90% that died was before any vaccine?

Who decides what is or isn't "misinformation?" The state? No thanks. I'm sure not going to believe anything coming from a demented old fraud who wants to send people "door-to-door" to see if I got "the jab," whose military thinks "climate change" and "white supremacy" (by which they mean Trump voters like myself) are bigger threats than China, Russia and Iran?

That doesn't mean I believe everything I hear from extremists on the other side, either. In the end, I'll make up my own mind, thank you.

Nothing says Covid-denier like saying churches can't gather, even if outside and wearing the mask, while allowing protestors to gather by the thousands. Explain that.
And tell me why gyms, a place to get fit and healthy was closed meanwhile supersize me McDonald's could stay open. Is wearing a mask and social distancing the ONLY way to fight a virus? What about eating healthier and living a healthier lifestyle to boost one's immunity?
And the virus is airborne, anyone who denies that is a covid-denier, therefore the mask will offer little help.

Someone who has read the 1st amendment fully explain what it says about private companies setting rules. Let me know what you find. Be specific.

The law says that when companies act at the behest of the government then they are agents of the government and thus the First Amendment (and other laws) apply to them just as if they were government.

Also the matter of false advertising as in claiming to be free speech while censoring harmless differing opinion.
