Some people today think Jesus got angry at Thomas for doubting. The only thing Thomas did was 'jump the gun' because later Jesus said before He left, "If anyone says 'here is the Christ or there is the Christ then believe them not." He gave the condition of His return(like a thief in the night). Right now 'Christ' that comes out in the open for the world to see is not the True Christ.
And sometime after Jesus left the planet, a bunch of people were blindly accepting Jesus. Some of the Apostles had a bit of a panic attack over that because they wanted people to make an informed decision instead of having 'blind faith' about accepting Jesus. The biggest threat to Christians was never being martyred in some brutal and violent manner. . .it was and is the liars and deceivers claiming to be of God and Christ.

Unfortunately everything has been mucked up in the past 100 years or so concerning scientific method and how to science. What little Scientific Law is now ambiguous and too much Scientific Hypothesis and Theory are treated as 100% truths. Even Einstein admitted his famous theories and hypothesis could one day be disproved.

a year ago, when hearing about the likely lab leak, everyone was like "well, yeah, that seems to make sense", but then just in the past couple months, that explanation is now called the "lab leak theory". Why did they tack on "theory"? Accidents happen, people can accept that. China is well known for not following lab safety procedures, so it's not a surprise.

Even science. . .fiction must have a basis in existing scientific facts to be considered legit even if the science is 'in the future'. Heck, HP Lovecraft's 'At the Mountains of Madness' has a better scientific basis for the period it was written compared to the crap that comes out of Fauci's pie-hole.
