Like people who want to abolish the Electoral College because their candidate lost, it isn't based on any kind of principles.

The electoral college is essentially dead anyway. Only one state allows their electors to be split. Otherwise they all go to a few counties.

The unfortunate thing is, the fact that Democrats use it so much gives credence to the premise that it's racist. And they do have an awful lot of old, rich white people running the show in DC.
