Governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer reportedly botched her timing while attempting to shut down another oil pipeline amid a nationwide gas shortage following last week's Colonial Pipeline hack.

In a Washington Post op-ed published Friday, the Democrat wrote that the Enbridge Inc owned Line 5 pipeline has pumped crude oil through the cross-section of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, the Straits of Mackinac, for over seven decades. She described the two four-and-half mile sections as a "ticking time bomb," Fox News reported.

Then why isn’t she proposing a replacement if she thinks it’s a ticking time bomb? The San Francisco Bay bridge was a ticking time bomb, but did they just shut it down? No, they built a new bridge next to it while allowing the old bridge to be used until the new bridge as finished.

On paper at least, we did it for German (the other end of the pipeline) and not for Russia. But there can be more than one reason for things. Maybe its shady. Putting a pin in it.
