kid, just because prosecutors make a claim of no signs of physical signs of asphyxiation or strangulation doesn't make it so. and even if such signs were not detected, a person's trachea, when twisted against an unyielding surface, might be more susceptible to blockage. i'm not a medical doctor and i don't imagine you are either. this is why courts ask for detailed medical testimony and not just medical opinion.
you want to believe that Floyd's breathing was not blocked by Chauvin's knee, but you have only the same video to go on as I do. since it's possible that it was, and since the autopsies said cardiac arrest and asphyxiation while under police custody, that's what the court will probably consider to be the cause of death.
were drugs and/or underlying medical conditions partly to blame for Floyd's death? that would be hard to argue since he was alive before the arrest. when officers arrest and restrain a suspect, they don't know what the suspect's condition is and they should feel an absolute compulsion to bring in any non-violent suspect alive. despite the loss of response and the loss of a pulse as indicated by his partner, Chauvin continued to apply pressure to Floyd's neck.
i was just kidding when i said you were smarter than me, buddy. you express yourself well and your logic, care, and judgment are better than most. but that's not good enough, Harry. not nearly good enough.
