That’s dumb. In this case they both did something dumb, the “victim” and the cop. I think he mugged someone or was drinking, and the cop pulled them over, and when he got out of the car, she said that she accidentally pulled the gun instead of the taser. There is a weigh difference, cause I know.

Not always. My wife got pulled over awhile back because she was driving a little too fast. She showed the cop her stuff including her LTC (yes, she had a gun) and in the end he just checked her out and gave her a warning. Funny how that works, regardless of what color your skin is. My wife is black, by the way.

Well yeah. Just like anyone else she was honest and volunteered her information to the officer and asked how he would like to handle the situation. The point is to make the officer’s interaction with you as boring and unremarkable as possible. If people would keep that in mind there would be a whole lot less trouble with law enforcement.

I think you get it. We are told that it’s a widespread racist institution but I don’t think it is. I think it’s a few bad apples and maybe outdated training for all of them. I don’t believe that every cop is racist, but I do know that some are. Those are the ones who need to go away.

it’s really few and far between that i get the chance to civilly debate politics and i think that’s why we’re so divided and a country. we just won’t listen to the other side. and yeah, there’s bs and fake news from both sides and that makes it difficult, but i think that if as a country, we listen, then we can figure out what’s fake and what’s not

I got news for you, we have traveled to every state together and the most racist areas that we have found tend to be in blue states.
