In spite of what you may think about Trump supporters, I watched the Obama care debates in congress and the media, and even though I was told my health care costs wouldn't go up (and who told me that?) any sane, reasonable person knew they would when Obama care passed. I didn't mind (and still don't, actually) paying more if doing so is going to help others who can't afford decent health care without a little bit of help.

What I didn't appreciate, was my health care costs doubling during the time frame I mentioned. Like I said, I'm happy to pay more to help out, but double?

Republicans gutting the Affordable Care Act just because they hated Obama is why your premiums went up. Also Obamacare didn't even go into effect for a few years after it was signed and by then it was already watered down by republicans. So if your premiums doubled from the time it was passed it wasn't because of the ACA.

Based on a post like that, it's hard to argue with those who say liberals are tone deaf. Cause some people don't want to stop for two hours every thirty miles. Did you know that the process to mine batteries for electric cars is more destructive to the environment than fuel-burning cars?

not anymore. manuf pollution payback is 2 years now. which car do you have to stop and charge every 30 miles? The lowest ones are 85. most people commute 40 miles a day, that means refilling every 2 days or topping off overnight while you sleep on a wall outlet.
