Yeah, alright thesis, I suppose you believe that in the name of health care being a "right", which it's not, that everyone's health care should be free. Unfortunately, that belief has a fundamental flaw, which is nobody has a right to the services and good of other human beings.
That sticky issue aside, who is going to pay me back for my health care premiums doubling from the time Obama care passed, until the time president Obama left office?
In spite of what you may think about Trump supporters, I watched the Obama care debates in congress and the media, and even though I was told my health care costs wouldn't go up (and who told me that?) any sane, reasonable person knew they would when Obama care passed. I didn't mind (and still don't, actually) paying more if doing so is going to help others who can't afford decent health care without a little bit of help.
What I didn't appreciate, was my health care costs doubling during the time frame I mentioned. Like I said, I'm happy to pay more to help out, but double?
No thanks. Got burned on that one... won't get burned again.
