Make certain you include ALL COKE PRODUCTS. That's shwepppes, minute maid, powerade, gold peak tea, barqs rootbeer, and peace tea, just to name a few. Oh yes sprite of course.

Yep. I’ve been drinking Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Diet Dr. Pepper, MUG, Sunkist, Mt. Dew, RC Cola, and Pepsi max for a good long while. I was never a fan of tea, lemonade, or sport drinks. I think I’m good to go.

I know "hard seltzer" isn't exactly beer but tbh I was under the assumption coke was not in the alcoholic beverage game at all

Me neither. Somehow I thought Coke had ties to The Latter Day Saints, but I don't know where I heard that or if it's accurate or if I care

Idk. Coffee is still a no-no but apparently caffeinated soda has been considered legit for LDS since 2012..... so it's possible.

Or better yet: Why not neither

There’s nothing wrong with boycotting a company whose business practices you don’t believe in. We’ve been doing this for decades

However, only Righties seem to think that when they do it they’re somehow not doing fundamentally the same thing as the Left

But after boycotting some of America’s major brands including Goodyear, the NFL, and now Coca-freaking-Cola it’s quite plain they’ve become comfortable with cancel culture even as they rail against it

However, for all the social media sound and fury I have a hard time believing conservatives really followed through on these threats. Conservatives boycott professional football? America’s #1 soft drink brand? Really? Over an awkward HR memo that has already probably gotten the lady fired?

Color me doubtful even the creator of the meme actually follows through with this for longer than a 24 hour rage cycle

Nope, I hate "cancel culture". But, it does point out to the left how stupid it is. They are boycotting a pillow company.

Yes, many of us are boycotting Mike Lindell’s pillow company because we disagree with what he had to say.

More specifically: Because he chose to spout election-related lies that if believed by enough people would have been sufficient to disenfranchise 81+ million Americans who voted for Biden.

On the other hand we have... a poorly-worded, cringey HR memo, essentially, that provokes the loud cries of boycott and cancellation of Coke on the right.

The boycotting process is obviously the same. And beyond process, on the underlying complaint, it’s clear which violation is worse.

It’s wasn’t an HR memo, it was a training on Linked in that Coke referred its employees to. Reminds me of you here shrieking about beating officer sicknick to death with a fire extinguisher because it ramped up your leftist narrative. You hear that story is BS? Just like most of your representations and exaggerations m.

You are Trivializing the training as a “memo” when it wasn’t a memo, Linked in has removed it from its site and the person credited Becverlg D’Angelo has distanced herself and said the training was made without her knowledge or permission.

The same way you trivialize this you exaggerate the sicknick death to being a beating, but it wasn’t. No proof of it but here you were shrieking it to paint the false picture. Same way you promoted the “children in cages” narrative that are now used by Biden and magically not “children in cages even though it’s the exact same structures. Hypocrisy is the lefts calling card and you are the prime practitioner.

In every company I’ve ever been familiar with, all communications to employees on diversity training are handled by HR. Certainly would be the case at a huge company like Coca-Cola. Whether that training took place on LinkedIn or in an internal live or Zoom seminar or was circulated in a memo to employees is irrelevant. You draw a big ol’ distinction without a difference.

Kind of like how you’re trying to make a mountain out of the molehill of whether Officer Sicknick died of a fire extinguisher blow to the head or died of a stroke after suffering other injuries inflicted by the MAGA mob. Either way, he’s dead chief, and we know where to attribute blame.

The training/memo/whatever was dumb and clumsily phrased, but the aggrieved right-wing pushback to it was even dumber. The whole episode all served to underscore the underlying truth that whites do need to be reminded that racial minorities do indeed have it rougher in our society.

Many whites are uncomfortable being told that and throw all kinds of temper tantrums when they are. Query why.

As for me, I have white skin and I don't mind being told that my skin color makes me privileged, because I'm not a white supremacist and I can handle the truth. Whites having a generally easier time in life is an evident corollary to the fact of living in a majority-white society.

You mean citizens of a countries predominant and founding culture have the advantage of a system set up by them and for them. Just like Mexico has, and Kenya and China or any other country and their predominant culture. Yet you make it racist if the country has white people, whose countries by far are the most inclusive. Many racial minorities thrive in this country and love it more than you do. They of course lack the I'm a victim of racism mentality that many natives possess.

Equality has made tremendous strides since the 60’s. Now you call it equity, which is really just racism rebranded because it assumes the racial minority is less than you and needs extra help up. Equity is the epitome of white supremist.

Boycott is not cancel culture as it doesn’t deny its existence or demand it close down. A boycott denies profit to corporations who want to enter the political arena. Corporate America have proven that they dislike being boycotted and in many cases have collapsed in fear of it. The left uses it often. I’m thinking chik fil a and the demand for boycott because the owner is Christian. It actually increased chik fil a’s business and anyone who lives near one can attest that they are packed and were even before the pandemic. In the end if you don’t want a denial of profit boycott from the right just sell your product. Goodyear, NBA and NFL all saw profit impact from their wokeness as will Coke and Disney. Will they survive, of course they will but maybe they’ll keep their support of Marxism, China, and wokeness to their boardroom.
