Liberals: Border Walls are an immorality. Border Walls don’t work.

Also Liberals: Border Walls around the capitol are moral and will work to keep us safe.

1. That’s a picture of the White House. Lol.

2. Trump’s the one who erected those barricades.

3. It’s sensible enough for Biden to leave them up, because evidently we live in a country where fascist Trumpista mobs invade federal government buildings whenever they don’t get their way, which they aren’t likely to get much of for the next four years at least.

Your argument: Invalid

Jesus Christ; are you three? I wasn’t talking about the White House. I was making a contradictory comparison statement, using the capitol as an example. And remind me again how many times Trumpista mobs have invaded the White House, which you made a point to tell me this picture was from? Take your time, double digit IQ girl.

Side-note: I’m shocked you didn’t whine & protest that the bottom picture was a fake and that Reagan never told Biden to tear down the wall.

Your argument: moronic.

Why would Trumpista mobs invade the White House? Until last month, their guy was sitting in it. Lol. But we have 4 more years at least of Biden/Harris to go. Will there be Trumpista riots or, more likely, lone wolf white supremacist terror attacks on the White House?

As a not-so-wise recent Oval Office occupant once said: we’ll see!

The bottom panel of OP meme was an obvious hyperbole/reference the kind you see in political/historical memes all the time and would have been silly to object to.

However!

Ironically, there was talk amongst Democrats of tearing down Trump’s White House barricades once Joe Biden got in, as a symbol of reuniting the White House with the American people. But as far as I know, certain events of Jan. 6 suggested an — ahem — different approach, and I haven’t heard a peep about it since.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theatlantic.com/amp/article/617041/

[Pause so that you can chuckle at a liberal opinion piece in the Atlantic that “didn’t age well.” Haha! Funny!]

Final thought: Whatever Trump thought he was fortifying the White House against with those barricades, he evidently didn’t think it was important enough to fortify Congress against the same perceived threat.

And as we all know, on Jan. 6, Mr. Trump called a rally in D.C., filled throngs of his supporters with the same election-related lies he’d been speeding for months, and then sent them marching down Pennsylvania Avenue in the general direction of Congress with minimal instruction and no supervision.

So

Query how long in advance Trump had a Jan. 6-like event against Capitol Hill planned in the not-at-all unlikely event he was to lose the 2020 election, and whether that informed his decision of which federal government buildings in D.C. to barricade and to NOT barricade.

Things that make you go hmmm for sure

Omg, are you two?

I meant, your IQ, single-digit IQ troll.

The only “morons” here are you and your QAnon-backed cult under the now ousted Twitler. So much for your failed Supreme Court coup. How did that and your revolt on the Capital work out for you boys?

Your (lack of) argument: proof you are projecting, “moron” incarnate.

They need a wall for what’s coming. They know their policies will be wildly unpopular as they begin to deteriorate the fabric of the country. Like all despots and totalitarians they have to protect themselves from their subjects.

That's more or less what's been said after every presidential election. The country will be fine regardless.

Not really, they’ve never kept a wall up around the seat of government before. It will be fine if you are a Marxist

What steps have been made to dismantle the Constitution?
1 up, 4y,

Executive orders over legislature. Intentional and public refusal to perform oath of office ( ironically impeachable) by refusing to enforce federal laws.

Second claim is BS.
As for first claim, Trump issued almost as many executive orders in 4 years as Obama did in 8. And there's nothing unconstitutional about executive orders.
1 up, 4y,
1 reply
Depends on what is being ordered. Biden is ordering changes in the law.
0 ups, 4y,

There's a limit on what executive orders can do, and if an order goes beyond those limits, it's simply not enforced. Trump's executive order trying to regulate businesses, for example.
0 ups, 4y
OBAMA totally ignored immigration statutes and created his dreamer law. Biden is going even further.

"Katie Liming, a spokeswoman for the National Parks Service, told Insider in an email that the new wall is a "white temporary fence" that is part of a broader "fence replacement project."

"The white temporary fence on the south side of the W"hite House is part of the White House fence replacement project," Liming wrote.

So you don't think the majority of Trump supporters wanted to storm the Capitol and are evil.

Though the BLM riot death tolls are much much higher than the Capitol riot.
0 ups, 4y,
1 reply
No I don't think that, although the number of Republicans who are somewhat supportive of what happened is very disturbing.
0 ups, 4y
I have not known any Republicans in support of the violence. Though I do know many supported the BLM riots even when they turned violent.

And of course each life matters, but what was it? 5 deaths at the Capitol riot? I think 4 of those were rioters. That's in a whole different ballpark from the riots all last year.
1 up, 4y
Ding Ding Ding. And hardly conservative.
