I'm of the 0.01 percent that was for the Capitol event. Not because of who was there - but because our country is long overdue for the people to rise back up.
The people rose up & declared freedom against a tyrannical British rule in 1776. We made a new nation - with a spectacular Bill of Rights & a Constituion. Since then, politicians & Big Companies have turned the United States into a mockery of its original design and creation.
Sure we have made improvements - like ending slavery, ending segregation, women's rights, voting rights, mixed race marriage, same sex couple marriage, and more... But we went to war and became a nation - over a couple cents tax on TEA... And we hand over ridiculous amounts of our paychecks to Taxes. Taxes big companies and rich people can loophole around.
The poor people that make up the vast majority in this country need to bond together - and take care of the actual problems which revolve around being poor. Not being a skin color.
