What Next? Throw Away All Quarters & Dollar Bills? | SAN FRANCISCO SCHOOL BOARD VOTES TO BAN FOUNDING FATHERS; NAMES TO BE REMOVED:
GEORGE WASHINGTON,
ABRAHAM LINCOLN,
& THOMAS JEFFERSON; Students remotely learning are not
even in the schools to be renamed
but that did not sway these SJWs. A formal apology to Native Americans
for 'land theft & the pain & trauma caused
by racist imagery, textbooks & mascots'; was allocated $200,000 for Indian education. All Thanksgiving stereotypes,
such as headdresses, were
ordered removed from the district. The renaming project could cost San Francisco

at least $1 million to rename school sites,
signage, repaint sports fields & gym floors, etc. THE DISTRICT FACES A $75 MILLION
BUDGET DEFICIT IN THE NEXT YEAR. But 'FEELINGS' are WAY More Important

I am so glad you are back! Ohmygosh, I thought you had disappeared forever. I actually checked recently to see if you had returned and made any memes and you had not. SydneyB hasn't surfaced in awhile either so I was wondering if you two were gallivanting around some new meme site together, lol.😂 So happy you are here to help spread some sense around to the leftists. Danzinger gave me a new term for them today--moonbats--which I definitely think is appropriate.🙄😁 Thank you for the comment, merry, which is not true but I know is coming from a good place! Welcome back...

Sometimes, if Howie Carr is referring to a real "Full-Blown" Moonbat, he will describe them as "A real Moonbat's Moonbat".

Every term is new to someone the first time that they hear it.

Why do you find it necessary to constantly be the Baby Ruth in this swimming pool?
5 ups, 3y
To be clear, I have heard the term before but just felt that it definitely was a good one to apply to Democrats these days...

Legendary New England Radio host (and author) Howie Carr can take much credit for popularizing the term "Moonbat". He can still be counted on to utter it most days on his great radio show. I recommend him highly to all. His show airs in many markets 3-7PM (Right after the Rush Limbaugh show)👍🤗

Traditional clothing is okay... if it's a Native American wearing it and not some drunk a-hole at a football game mocking Native peoples while cheering on his team.

And don't forget vBackman, SF is very close to having Biden (meaning we taxpayers) pay for the homeless they've been putting up in luxury hotels for months.

SF used to be a place I enjoyed going to, but not any more. It's a shithole now. Sure, there are a few nice places left, but those are places where only the rich leftists hang out.

Oh, I had not heard! Bad news but can't say I am surprised. That was so ridiculous when they first mismanaged that mess in SF. Wow, it just dawned on me that I used the word 'mess' and you mentioned 'shithole' and the tie to SF is irrefutable.😶 Who could believe that this once great city has become such a joke? How can people put up with this stuff? I think Liberalism is well past the mere 'mental disorder' stage...

One other piece of wood to throw on the fire about the dumpster that is SF... I saw an article today that the SF school board is considering renaming one of its high schools after Jerry Garcia. So, the school would be Jerry Garcia High.

Of course this is part of the larger push by SF to rename anything that has any connection to America's past, in a way that they feel is related to " slave owners and colonizers". So I guess this means it's Lincoln High that will be renamed.

I think this is all just a stupid game to these klowns. While Garcia was a talented artist, he's not exactly a great role model for youth, imo. Yes, just my opinion. (reminds me of the time I went to a parent/teacher meeting once, and saw giant poster photos of Woody Allen and Kurt Cobain in the school's library... again, talented artists, but not exactly role model material, imo.)

It is interesting that those on the "right" and "left" live in a alternative reality bubble. they both spend a lot of time complaining "being triggered" by things they have no control over

Times change and the present becomes the past. Are you going to actually lose sleep because the name of a school is changed?

Will you not be able to go on living if more illegals cross the border?

Taxes, Crime, Social Upheaval, Politics, War it's all naturally occurring events "rinse and repeat"

No, you are confusing me with Dr. Jill Biden, Octavia. She tries to make people "think" that she is an MD. I never have claimed to be but I do admit to having good common sense. That is why I reject liberalism as it destroys whatever it touches. Case in point, San Francisco. Let me guess, you are ready to defend SF and Pelosi now?

Octavia, from PBS article...
Republicans' answer to the problem of the black vote was to add a Constitutional amendment that guaranteed black suffrage in all states, and no matter which party controlled the government. Congress spent the days between Grant's election and his inauguration drafting this new amendment, which would be the 15th added to the Constitution.

The writers of the Fifteenth Amendment produced three different versions of the document. The first of these prohibited states from denying citizens the vote because of their race, color, or the previous experience of being a slave. The second version prevented states from denying the vote to anyone based on literacy, property, or the circumstances of their birth. The third version stated plainly and directly that all male citizens who were 21 or older had the right to vote.

Determined to pass the amendment, Congress ultimately accepted the first and most moderate of the versions as the one presented for a vote. This took some wrangling in the halls of Congress, however. Many Congressmen felt that the first version did not go far enough, and that it left too many loopholes.

Congress passed the Fifteenth Amendment on February 26, 1869. But some states resisted ratification. At one point, the ratification count stood at 17 Republican states approving the amendment and four Democratic states rejecting it. Congress still needed 11 more states to ratify the amendment before it could become law.

All eyes turned toward those Southern states which had yet to be readmitted to the Union. Acting quickly, Congress ruled that in order to be let into the Union, these states had to accept both the Fifteenth Amendment and the Fourteenth Amendment, which granted citizenship to all people born in the United States, including former slaves. Left with no choice, the states ratified the amendments and were restored to statehood.

Finally, on March 30, 1870, the Fifteenth Amendment became part of the Constitution. To many, it felt like the last step of reconstruction. But just as some had predicted, Southerners found ways to prevent blacks from voting. Southern politics would turn violent as Democrats and Republicans clashed over the right of former slaves to enter civic life. White supremacist vigilante groups like the Ku Klux Klan gained strength as many whites refused to accept blacks as their equals. America still faced years of struggle.

The last article referenced the KKK so I wanted to add this....copied below from history.com...the KKK were Democrats so please realize that Republicans were the ones fighting for equal rights for blacks. Leftists (Moonbats) attempt to reverse all of history as they are the racists NOT conservative Republicans as they constantly accuse us. This info is readily available on other sites.

Founded in 1865, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) extended into almost every southern state by 1870 and became a vehicle for white southern resistance to the Republican Party’s Reconstruction-era policies aimed at establishing political and economic equality for Black Americans. Its members waged an underground campaign of intimidation and violence directed at white and Black Republican leaders. Though Congress passed legislation designed to curb Klan terrorism, the organization saw its primary goal–the reestablishment of white supremacy–fulfilled through Democratic victories in state legislatures across the South in the 1870s.

"Without liberals, black people wouldn't be allowed to vote in the US"

You're just spewing nonsense, Octavia. Do you take even a moment to stop and think about this crap before you hit reply? It sure looks like you don't, at least based on how much utterly false crap you post.

I was going to bombard you with facts to prove my statement, but of course vBackman is 17 hours ahead of me with that! I really need to spend more of my free time on the flip if I want to keep up.

Some things are self-evident.

Putting homeless people in luxury hotels instead of more affordable housing, would seem to qualify as some kind of disorder. Financial, mental, common sensical... whatever it is, it makes no sense to do that.
