The OP didn't say it was a hoax. He said Covid has been used in political ways, which is 100% true whether Covid is as deadly as people say or not.

Then Stan assumed the OP thinks Covid is a hoax, as I've seen from several leftists on conservative memes in this stream.

And I'm saying the people that think it's a hoax are about as common as people who think you'll drop dead if you're maskless outside, so it's kind of silly to assume either of someone.

It's a reference to a trump quote... "This is their (Democrats) new hoax" or something like that... I've heard it argued he meant that figuratively/politically. but for a man who has so many words...( The best words...) I believe he was playing both sides of "hoax" (figurative and literal).

Haven't researched the rest of OP claims but the ending lockdowns had directly followed a sizeable decline in new daily cases. So it seems OP must either believe the numbers are fake news (a literal hoax to support ended lockdowns) or be simply ignoring the facts.

I've seen similar sentiment on the right regarding CNN Covid statistics banners allegedly "being removed" for political reasons/timing... Didn't seem to be much meat on that argument either.

Idk.. not where I'm at. Places are opening up again here so I would tend to expect numbers to reverse again at least somewhat.... However if the however many millions who were already infected are at least temporarily immune... and the vaccine ball is still rollin maybe not so much... Im actually getting a little optimistic. I'm still somewhat paranoid though that once/if the pandemic ends the stock market will crash anyway and slap the sh*t out of me for ever trying to be optimistic. Lol
