There must be trouble in paradise because Facebook never advertised on TV until after they started censoring conservatives.

Can you imagine going into a Taco Bell and just because you requested something not on their menu they threw you in Taco Bell jail. Would you ever go back to Taco Bell after that?

Taco Bell would go out of business if they did that. No business would ever even think of doing that, all of them except for Facebook. How stupid do they have to be. The customer IS ALWAYS RIGHT is how the business world has always operated.

Well... There is a reason for FB's arrogance. You are not a customer of FB. You are the product. They sell your profile information to advertisers. So FB decided that they want to sell only people with identical profiles to advertisers and they tried to mold and shape their users to fit their mold.

This is the real reason people are leaving. Now Facebook is having to advertise.

Twitter is advertising also? I haven't seen any ad for Twitter yet. They did it to themselves.

Twitter might have to start advertising if they keep losing money and members.

Which makes you wonder "why" they're doing it.

China got photos of their top executives naked with hookers and crack.

Nike sells shoes. Facebook sells data. Less people, less data, less money.

If you had bought Facebook stock on March 20, 2020 and sold it right now, your investment would've had a 67% gain.

If you had bought in 2019, you'd have made even more profit
But if you had sold before Trump got banned, you'd have made even more profit

Not necessarily.. The only month in 2019 that you would've made more profit than that is in January. (unless you're figuring in long term vs short term capitals gains tax.. )

Since trump has got banned, Facebook has only declined about 5%... Let me know if it dips 20-30% so I can buy some.
:P

You seem to understand the bigger picture when it comes to actual wealth and the massive amounts of money involved.

FB does not even need the American market to survive FB has around 3 billion users. I'm guessing losing around 71 million sore losers won't effect Mark's bottom line to much

eh.. maybe somewhat. I think if I truly understood it, I too would have massive amounts of money. :P

Ya.. and that is assuming the entire Republican voting base would either dump facebook or be dumped by facebook over alleged voter fraud/trump. I'm not convinced..... Besides that as well as international users, Facebook owns Instagram, Whatsapp, and Oculus. Far as I know nobody's getting banned from any of those.

Warren Buffet's best advice?

1. Never compete with competition buy them out

2. Never own more than 49% interests so when shit goes south you are not left holding bag. Those with controlling interest get hurt more

3. Never try to fix what is not broken

?? Zuckerberg donated $51 billion?
Are you sure? I saw some figures 45 billion+ but I believe that was including his pledge to donate 99% of his facebook shares (which has not been fulfilled yet) Idk. Feel free to prove me wrong.

That sounds like a bunch until you realize they're collectively worth around $800B

I guess it doesn't sound as impressive to say "Facebook's stock dropped by 1.03%".

I don't know about you, but when I see Twitter and FB stock go on sale, I buy it. It always goes back up.
