They're restricting the inauguration to hide the fact that an incredibly embarrassing number of people would care enough to show up. He did that alot during his campaigning.

When the government has to be protected for. The people somethings wrong. The left caused this. Summer of love and violence and silence from the new law and order democrats. It’s funny you believe that when you hold the reins.

You can’t credibly blame events that took place months ago which have nothing to do with the election.

The proximate cause of the Capitol Hill riot was Trump’s incendiary speech, coupled with his failure to concede, and his solid two months of relentlessly lying about the election outcome. If he’d put his big boy pants on and conceded like every other defeated Presidential candidate has done in our history, there would have been no Capitol Hill riot and no cause for rioting.

Trump could have preserved what reputation he had. Instead, he threw it all away and is cruising toward the mother of all post-presidential cancellations, from impeachment to social media bans to loss of business relationships and events, up to and including a Category 5 hurricane of civil and criminal lawsuits.

But as far as those riots last summer go: You know what caused those riots, right?

Here’s a reminder.

Reform the police to get rid of the bad apples, and elect officials who respect elections and the law. It’s simple.
3 ups, 3y,
1 reply
Not according to the FBI. The actors planned before the speech and the FBI warned of it. If the left can credibly blame events that happened 180 years ago or,if you follow the 1619 project, 400 years ago I think we can add the summer of love to the heightened divisions and tension in and after the elections.

You don’t have to concede and I don’t blame him for not doing so. The election was full of fraud the failure to investigate is what really drove this. Shady occurrences and unexplained anomalies. No election trust, no peace. The Dems made sure to increase the election suspicion by pushing for unverified mass ballot mailing and other changes in election law some of which were illegally performed by those not empowered to make those changes. The fix was in. The election was compromised.

So how did reform the police thing become America bad? Denouncing it since it’s inception and saying it’s flag and anthem are symbols of hate and it’s founders were crap? Because it wasn’t about the police reform that everyone was ready to do. It was about pushing Marxism and socialism.

Expanding access to remote voting in the middle of a pandemic was smart and humane. The election still could have been disastrous from a logistical perspective, but miraculously, it wasn’t. No violence at polling places which I thought was a miracle given these tense times.

There were excessively long lines in majority Democratic and majority-black areas and removing polling sites was unconscionable. So were the fake ballot drop boxes set up by California Republicans. There were definitely lots of things for Democrats to complain about.

But in the end, Biden’s victory was large enough that there was no serious doubt.

Trump got every recount that he was entitled to; in GA they found about a net 1,000 more ballots for Trump on the second count but that was due to Republican incompetence in rural counties. The margin of victory for Biden was still over 11,000 in GA not to mention the other swing states Biden won.

Giuliani’s BS lawsuits, Powell’s BS lawsuits, the TX AG’a BS lawsuits, all tossed out.

Biden won. Only conspiracists deny it.
3 ups, 3y
Unvetted changes were disastrous to election integrity. Unverified ballots rampant.

The Republican drop boxes in California were found to be legal and were not removed. They were instructed to add monitoring as were many Democrat ballot harvester locations.

The fix was in and executed as planned with fake ballots and fraud probably in collusion with China. Biden will be inaugurated, but he will be a truly illegitimate president elected in fraud and Impeach 46 will be the battle cry. Trump won in 2016 and only conspiracists denied it. Careful with those backflips, you could hurt your back.

Do you have any idea how cowardly it sounds, trying to blame Democrats for what Trump and Cult45 have done?
0 ups, 3y
Do you have any idea how cowardly it is to villainize a group or race of people because of socialist lies. Encouraging violence all summer led to reactive violence. When do the impeachment trials for democratic congress people who urged crowds to rioting using veiled threats. Nutjob Maxine Waters, and others encouraged violence.

Again.. straw man. Idk. Maybe I'm wrong.
Who is calling him the most popular president of all time??

Somehow yall seem to fail to consider or forgot about how hated he is despite telling us for 4 years how severe our TDS was. Covid could've been something that boosted his approval and brought a little unity in America but unfortunately it was labeled a "democrat hoax".... Idk.

Trump's own cabinet, lawsuits, etc seem to have debunked the voter fraud thing but eh.. I know I won't convince you otherwise.

Not a straw man, Biden is going to be inaugurated president by supposedly the highest number of votes in the history of our country. Yet he needs a division of troops to protect his inauguration. Seems kinda strange don’t it? What’s wrong here?
1 up, 3y,

Only because Trump and Cult45 have whipped up his unhinged followers into a frenzy. If he were to stop playing this dangerous game, quit acting like a big baby sore loser, and end his joke of a tenure on a mature note, our country could try to get back to normal. But unfortunately, he's a sociopathic grifter hell bent on using his base to appease his humongous ego. Which is rather pathetic when you think about it. Trump wants nothing more than to line his pockets. He wouldn't piss on his base if you were on fire yet you morons would gladly give your life for him. Sad.

You have the Trump Obsession, not me. Trump doesn’t drive it he joins in the revulsion towards the un American leftist agenda. That revulsion will be there with or without him. No justice, no peace.

"..highest number of votes in the history of our country."

Correct..

"Yet he needs a division of troops... Seems kinda strange don’t it? What's wrong here?"

What's wrong here is an angry mob of deranged Trumpers stormed the capitol last week, murdered a policeman, and planted bombs inside.... in an attempt to stop the election process because the president and his goons fed Trumpers a line of sh*t..... about the election allegedly being "stolen" (despite his own cabinet, lawsuits, SCOTUS, recounts, etc debunking that claim).

Now armed "protests" are being planned in Washington and all 50 state capitals in the run-up to the inauguration... and according to the FBI, three separate plots to attack the Capitol have also been discovered.

It's almost unfathomable to me that you would not know "what's wrong here".
1 up, 3y,

Protesters, however misguided, are disgruntled Americans. Why so many? Why are they ready to engage in violence? It’s not because of Trump it’s because of the leftists and their media and big tech allies in suppression. Reap what you sow hypocrite.

I couldn't disagree with you more about why Trumpers are pissed....

"68% error rate in Michigan voting machines"

"Did Michigan Secretary of State break the law? Stay tuned!"

"Dominion deleted 2.7 million Trump votes".

-Trump after the election

The idea that it was actually the suppression of speech that got us where we are now is laughable. (Unless you are considering voting as "speech")

You believe each incident happens in a vacuum and is unrelated to others. The terrorism in major cities all summer, the looting, pillaging, the phony justifications for it. The outright encouragement of it by leaders on the left. The constant TDS and attacks. The repeated Marxist style denunciations of America. And now the obvious attempts to silence opposition. None of those things were good for America now or ever. They will reap as chuck schumer said about the Supreme Court a whirlwind.
1 up, 3y,

I could insert literally thousands of pictures from protests with people holding signs (some of them hand written) clearly related to the election leading up to this point to provide additional context to the (alleged) vacuum if you want ...... "Stop the steal", "Fraud 2020", "Make elections fair again", "Biden got beat", "Stop the cheat", etc as well as however many trump tweets and quotes relating to the same thing... I mean it's like an entire wall is covered in writing about election fraud and you're trying to point to a 1" square about riots 6 months ago and free speech on social media.

It's also interesting to me that you actually bring up the summer riots and say there were "phony justifications" for them, they were "encouraged from leaders", and were "not good for America"........ Apparently failing to recognize that it's exactly the same thing people say about the incident at the Capitol.

I am saying everything is related. Rising tensions, rioting, combative rhetoric and leftist calls for unamerican activities against the opposition. You will reap what you sow. Racism and hatred breed racism and hatred. Near continuous 4 years of impeachment attempts and claiming the election was stolen by Putin breeds the same. You reap what you sow.
0 ups, 3y
So I guess prior to trump when the closet "Kenyan" was in the white house that would also be related. Decades of Clinton investigations... What was it.. 7 Benghazi investigations trying to nail Hillary ? Seems I could say YOU reaped what you sowed.
:P

And personally I think Trump warrants a 3rd impeachment for that Georgia call. Calling em up and asking them to "find" votes...?? Like... Find the exact number of votes that I need in order to win... If Biden had made that phone call y'all would be sh*tting your pants. Apparently it's cool though so maybe in 2024 if Biden is still kickin' he can try out that strategy.

They already tried to impeach him 3 times. It’s been constant for four years. Times running out not gonna get it are you.

Obstructionism is the hallmark of our republic. With a two party system it is a back and forth of pendulum swings. Right now it swung left but it’s already swinging back to the right because the left overreaches. Everything you say and do will be used against you
When the pendulum swings.
0 ups, 3y
Times running out? The 2nd impeachment happened already. He is now the only president ever to be impeached twice.

You think the pendulum has swung left already and is swinging back?? Biden isn't even in office yet. I have a feeling it's going to be a lonnnng 4 years for you blue.

Impeachment is an accusation, not a conviction. Unfounded, and unproven without a trial and presentation of facts and defense. Dems are 0-3 on that. I would love to see these new impeachment rules applied to all of congress.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/viral-video-shows-leading-democrats-promoting-uprisings-unrest-harassment

Bidens inauguration will be the apex of the pendulum swing left. From there it will begin the swing back. Time will tell if it takes Two years or four.

It's a formal indictment requiring votes in the house... removal requiring them in the senate. Perpetuating BS which resulted in both a figurative and literal assault on democracy seems like high crimes to me. And as far as congress impeaching itself, ya that seems about as likely as Donald getting convicted/removed.. but he's done anyway. Too bad there's not really any obvious visual representation of the alleged voter fraud occuring. There is no "cop kneeling on the neck" moment for that argument.

I think trump might end up fracturing that party... I doubt he's going to want to shut up no matter how many platforms he gets kicked off of. He might make one of his own (platform and party).. If that happens I think it might be considerably more difficult for the repubs/RINOs to win anything.

0 ups, 3y
A comment I made 5 months back showing I did not defend the riots...

You however, seem to be saying the current riots and the underlying voter fraud belief are not the actual problem....... the actual problem is the leftists, the media, big tech, Biden's popularity, etc..

But idk maybe I'm misinterpreting what you mean.

Seems we've had problems since the beginning. 4 sitting US presidents have been assassinated, 2 have been injured in assassination attempts, 1 president-elect has had an attempt, and 1 ex-president has had an attempt..
0 ups, 3y
It’s an unproven accusation that has no weight because it is now used a political ploy. Never been proven or lead to actual conviction on 3 tries over 4 years. The accusation would never hold water in court on the latest and the second one was disproven. The first one was stillborn and attempted on the first year of his term. The boy that cried wolf comes to mind.

I would say the fake closing of the polls and continued processing of the special ballots that no chain of custody can be found for might be a video representation of likely fraud.

Without Trump to unify them the left will fracture onto pieces and weak silent moderates will be purged from the leftist revolution or silenced by fear of cancellation.

Not sure. Also not sure what difference it makes which party the government is in fear of in this conversation.. The number of perceived threats however IS a factor because it determines the response... (Hence the troops.)

So back to the point. A president so popular he needs an army division to protect him at his inauguration. That’s a lot of troops. They must be terrified of the guy in the Viking horns and his buddies.

President Trump.. a president so popular, he never polled above 49% approval..... The worst going back at least 80 years.

We'll have to wait and see if Biden can beat him at being the worst.

Maybe That’s because the cheat wasn’t down ballot. They didn’t have time to put the fix in for everything just for president. Ergo an abnormal amount of single vote ballots only for president. That’s why they stopped the count in the middle of the night unlike any other election I have ever witnessed.

The truth will eventually come out. Never were so many unverified ballots processed. Changes to election processes right before the election. Stop counting unlike any other election in recollection. Why? Because they needed time to make up more fake mail in ballots with a vote for only president.
