Yeah. What, the right to choose abortion is not advocating for less interference? The freedom to choose (or not choose) religion is not advocating for less interference? The freedom to choose who you want to marry? The freedom of gender identity?
True, Democrats want tighter gun restrictions, Republicans want less. True, Democrats want a public health option, Republicans want to choose their own health plan) (Mind you this is not an option that would be enforced on you, so it doesn't really count.) True, Democrats want higher taxes for more social programs so that more people can succeed in life with using the taxes for things like public college (and the Republicans don't want this). (Yet, for some reason Republicans don't want this, they'd rather poor people have to go for broke with college debt and line the pockets of the bankers, but hey.. because Capitalism right?)
Just because some of the freedoms we advocate does not fit your narrative doesn't mean we don't advocate for freedom. All of these freedoms I listed above, are things that the Republican party generally opposes the others are some that the Democrats oppose. In this respect, . But you see, we're smarter than that and realize that there's a scale. To one degree or another, both parties have their own Authoritarian or Libertarian agenda.
Your ignorance resides in denying your Authoritarian values. :)
