unfortunately, many of our politicians are "above the law", like they claim. they can literally buy themselves out of jail time. when the railroad industry sued the oil industry for buying out streetcar systems & lobbying, the government sued the oil industries $5000. that's the price of a used 1999 honda civic today. it's proof that our politicians can buy their way out of issues

Remember when Obama was in office, and gas prices were up past 4 dollars? Yeah, we'll have that kind of economy. Again.

I doubt it. The reason prices are so low now is because of low demand due to the worldwide pandemic. Maybe if the world economy rebounds and booms in the next 4 years with industry and travel consuming more petroleum, then I could see prices go up to where it was when he was VP. But I don’t see Biden having anything to do with a booming economy. But he could, and probably will, try to increase taxes on petroleum products to appease his “green” followers.

I don’t think he will. Especially since fossil fuel is used so much in the process of making, distributing and maintaining “green” energy systems.
