If you look into it a little every country has made mistakes, but we have the least blood on our hands of them all. do your history before you make statements like that.

as family of a few iraq vets, what do you even know about that war? we went in to remove terrorists who were committing horrendous crimes against humanity. Saddam Husain to name one. those leaders were killing more innocent people than you can imagine, and within their own country too. don't talk about things you know nothing about. in that war every civilian had a bomb strapped to them thanks to their dictator.

we were also part of the United Nations then. a group that, after wwii, tried to remove Communism and create world peace. but that lead to a lot of unnecessary involvement. you can rest assured that we are no longer a member of that organization.

as to native Americans, you can read in your history that they were massacring men women and children, at the time we had to defend ourselves some how. what would you have suggested if your family was at stake? hand em some flowers? however right and wrong are not always black and white: a few of the early settlers did betray the trust of some of the natives and that lead to some of the massacres. other times, during the revolution, England had the native Americans fight against us. but generally the white man has tried to make peace.

Don't get me wrong, I live near multiple reservations and that situation has and remains sad as can be, but at this point we've got more important things to do than complain about what was done in the past...the future is what's important, and the only thing we can change.

the reason we came to America is because we were oppressed by the various countries from which we came. and so we could've just sat there and be massacred in our home country, or we could find a place to go.

I am a white person, I am not guilty of that fact. we were the refugees and we had made peace with the Indians for the most part. but they were a savage and waring people, massacring themselves when we came. we brought christianity with us.
