So not being American is why you're saying you should get a pass on entirely misunderstanding what "Humor and discussion around U.S. and world politics." means?
Well, okay. As the American constructively criticizing you, I believe we Americans are a kind and forgiving people. And quite honestly, it's not that big of a deal anyway.
And... what about racism? Hopefully nobody condemns an entire country's people because their govt is corrupt. I don't hate the Iranian people, or the North Korean people, in spite of their evil govts.
Also, let me ask you something else, because being long-winded myself (as you can probably tell from my previous reply, and this reply) I am often f in this position with most memes I make. Is a meme about one subject, supposed to somehow tie in every other possible related subject, multiple other subjects, maybe at least one other subject?
So, for example let's say sharps45 decides to make a meme about China's program of infiltrating the US for information gathering purposes, from federal govt officials, local mayors, etc., by deploying hoochie spies. Is he supposed to somehow tie in China's incredible record of sick racism and racial oppression? How much information is he supposed to fit into one meme? Memes are a fairly limited medium in terms of communication, imo.
Trust me on this, the most effective memes, as far as I can tell, are narrowly focused as far as their subject. Sometimes a well constructed meme can communicate a great deal with a minimum amount of words. Those are the best memes, imo. And if humor can be worked in as well, then that's a bonus. Even if it's sarcastic or ironic humor... which is often lost on the geniuses here on imgflip.
