Has the world gone crazy. A man sends COVID patients to nursing homes know full well that COVID affect seniors worse than everyone else and he gets praised by everyone on the left. That is just sick.

Time for for them to give Gov. Cuomo a Nobel Peace Participation Prize like the one Barack Obama got.

I get nitpicking about Trump, altho at the start every dem unconsciously did a 180 on Trump, as always, and I get nitpicking about dems telling people to go out to Chinatown at the start. Honest mistakes were made, but what those 4 governors did was criminal. They really should be impeached and jailed. The one thing everyone knew was it affected the elderly the most.

I've heard Cuomo speak directly to this issue and no, he did not satisfy with an explanation that was understandable to me.

This will be worked out and blame should go where it should go. Ultimately though, this is in the past and NOTHING can be done to bring dead people back. And, it is super easy to have great hindsight to the past and criticize past mistakes.

The real question today is, just how many people now bitching about Cuomo, will have full Thanksgiving dinners with friends and family on Thursday like nothing has changed? Just how many people are about to become sick and how many more will they infect and kill due to their own willful disregard?

Those deaths haven't happened yet and can be stopped.

One question that comes to mind is if he did nothing wrong and those were State guidelines, why aren't they being followed now?

They're shutting schools again while keeping restaraunts, and even more importantly, bars open. And of course, should we have a replay of spring, that most necessary of necessities, liquor stores, will stay open because that is one industry, recession, depression, or the ghost towning of a locality, that will stay open no matter what.
If you're gonna spend the winter stuck home bored out of your skull alone with your dreadful family, might as well do it with a case of gin.

America has the most deaths of any nation in the world. America has 5% of the worlds population and 20% of the deaths due to covid.

Texas has more than twice the infections as NY at this point. Hotspots are nearly all in red zones/states or controlled by Republicans and the party of the anti-maskers. Cuomo? Yeah, he made some mistakes early on but lets get back to today, what is happening now and the mistakes that are causing deaths NOW and the willful ignorance behind it.

It's not about being in denial of what's happening now, it's just that we can't point fingers at one (Trump) and not at another (Cuomo) regardless of when they messed up and badly.

Bear in mind, this is while Trump was (supposedly) in denial while Cuomo - a 'truly and sincerely concerned citizen' - was not, and was interrupting tv programming every single day to talk about what an awesome job he was doing.

Governor means more than smiling for the camera and fighting to have the image of an ugly unremarkable swell new bridge he named after his father placed on NY license plates. He leads NY's goverment, and would and HAS criticized Trump for daring to tell us what to do.

He wants the vote (and I have not nor would ever vote for him)? Then he should get off the television and do his damn job and earn his pay. If he don't like it, he should resign, ASAP like this spring.
And yes, doing his job entails taking responsibility for HIS actions and decisions, not ducking them by pretending HIS orders weren't orders, but mere suggestions.

Trump didn't put seniors in nursing homes to spread it amongst themselves, Cuomo did. Let him pat himself on the back and own up to it like the cold hearted bastard of politician he is.
