Abortion is 98.5% of the time irrefutably wrong. The other 1.5% of the time it's a gray area (that's the percentage of abortions that result from rape and incest).

abortions from even those scenerios are wrong. the baby is just as alive then as if they were in the womb of a pro-life, loving mother. the only gray area when it comes to abortions i'd say is when it's likely both the mother and baby will die, but only if that's more likely than them living.

there's one thing that no one mentions but would solve almost all problems, but i forget what it's called. i think it's called surrogation, but i could be wrong. if it's in the case of rape, incest, etc, and they catch the pregnancy early-on while the baby is still in embryo form, the mother can safely have the baby implanted into someone else who will love and care for them. there's plenty of women out there who long to have children but can't, so why don't we ban abortions but replace them with surrogations? the baby would live, the mother would be able to choose, AND another couple would be blessed. win-win-win.

I absolutely agree with you. I'm sorry if you took my 'gray area' note as condoning abortion in those situations. My Catholic Faith is very clear on that matter: the only medical procedures that should be allowed are those undertaken only when the life of the mother is in danger and when the express goal of the procedure is to save both lives, even if in doing so it's distinctly possible the child could die.

Agreed. And, in most cases, it takes longer to get an abortion than it takes to get an emergency treatment. So in reality, it is more endangering to get the abortion. But yes, I understand what you mean.

It’s really saddening that Planned Parenthood calls her an unsung hero and political people like Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton take winning an award with her name as a huge honor because they admire what she stood for. Hillary won the Margaret Sanger award in 2009 and said she was so excited because Sanger is someone she really looked up to for all the “good” things she stood for. Pelosi won it in 2014.
