The problem with your theory is that election laws is and has always been set at the state value.

A court ruling in Pennsylvania will have no effect on Georgia or Michigan. There will be zero precedential value from that case. None.

Trump lost. It's over. Just rip that band-aid off right now. There's no pathway to Trump getting what he wants - not this time.

That's your strategy? If Trump can't win with votes he's going to have the chronies he put in office to pull strings for him? And that's fair to you?

Uh no. I'm waiting for highly valued lawyers and judges to do their job.

One appeal has already been dismissed because basic paperwork was missing. These lawyers are absolute rookies. Waiting on them is really really stupid.

Rookies? they are Ambulance chasers. Hell in the 80's Trump had a know mob lawyer on the payroll that is a fact

Oh, you couldn't be a real estate developer in New York City in the 70's without close ties to the mob. They wouldn't let you. Nobody's ever proven it with Trup although some journalists received death threats for trying, but it's completely impossible for Trump to have been the only real estate developer in New York the mob would allow to operate independently.

The mob in Vegas didn't let him in for the longest time. Even when he finally got in, he wasn't allowed to have slot machines in his hotel and it's not even on the Strip. The Trumps will claim he got a license in 2004 or whatever but that was only as a shareholder in his 10% stake in the Riviera. He had been trying for decades before that and the gaming commission found him to be too shady. Vegas hates Trump LOL.

And Biden knew and worked with a KKK leader, but we forgive people their past mistakes.

You are so stupid. That "KKK leader" was a former Grand Cyclops that left and disavowed the Klan and then went on to be this nation's longest serving US Senator. Biden knew and worked with him along with 98 other Senators.
You brainless lying fake-news spreading piece of garbage.

I expressly said we forgive people of such mistakes...how does advocating forgiveness make me a, "brainless lying fake-news spreading piece of garbage"???

Because it wasn't a "past mistake" and therefore did not qualify as a worthy example for your counter argument. You are guilty of spreading misinformation in the hopes of fostering misdirection. (AKA tRUMPfism)

Look dude, I assume you're talking about Robert Byrd? I'm saying no one, Democrat or Republican, should freaking care if he was a former Klansman. He gave up that life. He was sorry. Therefore we forgave him. I wasn't saying it was Biden's mistake working with him, as you've apparently misunderstood...I meant that no one is holding Biden responsible for working with a former Klansman and not eschewing (or, in today's parlance, 'canceling') him. Byrd reminds me of John Singleton Mosby, one of my heroes and a great man despite his early mistakes in life.

Did you even read it bro? There is nothing out there that disproves the claim that Trump was arrested as one of the KKK that day. Everything says he was there and got arrested though. And the police chief said they had no business being there. All of the men arrested that day were robed. Maybe it was his bathrobe?

The Trumps were also sued by the government for segregating blacks and Hispanics to one side of town in their apartment buildings and keeping the buildings in the better side of town strictly for whites. So yeah, very fine people.
[deleted]

I did read it. They said there was nothing proving he was a KKK member. Until we become a country of 'guilty until proven innocent' I don't hold anyone accountable for mere allegations and garbled police accounts.

With regards to segregation? Good. It's doubtful they learned from that lawsuit, but I'm glad to see segregation challenged and destroyed wherever it exists.

We forgive people their past mistakes after 40+ years of understanding and being open about the mistake they made when they were 21.

That's not and was never meant to be a blank cheque for people to do what they want because they're entitled to forgiveness afterwards.

I never said it was a blank endorsement of heinous actions. I'm merely saying that there are people who will forgive their champions of, quite literally, anything. These same people will point to leaders on the other side and hold them a sterling soul standard, criticizing their supporters for daring to support said leader, and in general proving themselves nothing more than hypocrites.

We know what you're saying. You say it louder than you realize.

You know, if you ever tried, you guys could really do something great with the lessons of how Robert Byrd earned his forgiveness from his racist past. He's a lesson in how you earn that forgiveness, not a lesson in discrediting forgiveness as hypocrisy.

If you ever tried, you might earn that forgiveness too. But you don't want to, do you?

The only one being intolerant here is you, trying to lump me in with whatever ilk to whom you're referring without explicitly naming anyone or providing proof that I'm indeed racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic, or whatever other catcall is being used this week.

I've got an even better example of someone who truly earned forgiveness. Read about John Singleton Mosby, known during the Civil War as, 'The Gray Ghost". He fought for the South, but afterwards became a firm believer in the ideals of racial justice and equality. A good friend of President Grant, he worked long and hard to defend blacks from the depravations of his former comrades. His story is one we would all do well to know.

I don't know why I can't reply to your cowardly "rebuttal", but if you're trying to say my looking up to someone who redeemed themselves and lived a good life is somehow wrong then I question what values you hold.

The Rudy is Trump's. How could you not know that? And the case he appeared in court to handle was the only one that SCOTUS had any interest in whatsoever. So. Wamp wamp.

Is it really news to you that he's a shit lawyer? Why are you having such a hard time accepting the reality of the situation?

How about you provide a source so I can verify it? They've lied in the media all through this.

Bro skis you can stop being a baby and get over it, YOU LOST. Trump is trying to turn our country into a dictator ship. When he doesn’t win the FAIR election, he tries to make it seem like it’s unfair in anyway possible. The right hates antifa and says they are facist. Ok but what does antifa mean?? Antifacist. This is big brain time.

That's an awfully sloppy characterization of what the PA case was about

tl;dr this case was about provisional ballots (i.e. those cast without proper ID in hand) and the appropriate timeline under PA state law in which they might be "cured" by the voter coming back with the appropriate ID.

Longer read:

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/nov/12/pennsylvania-election-lawsuit-judge-rules-trump-bu/

To wit:

"After the Pennsylvania Supreme Court upheld the state’s move to extend the deadline for counting ballots from Nov. 3 to Nov. 6, Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar also extended the time for voters to cure their ballots by providing proof of identification.

"The state law had allowed six days after the election for voters to provide proof for their ballots to count, which would have been Nov. 9. But Ms. Boockvar attempted to change that deadline to Nov. 12."

Basically, the Trump team was able to successfully challenge the PA Secretary's unilateral 3-day curing deadline extension. Just because the state moved to extend the deadline for counting ballots by 3 days didn't mean the Secretary had the right to also extend the curing deadline by three days.

So, Team Trump notched one win out of the countless cases they've been filing across the country -- yay. However:

1. This is an administrative technicality; doesn't even come close to proving any kind of systemic fraudulent election-rigging scheme in PA or anywhere else in the country;

2. It won't necessarily be "precedent" in any other state because the facts in PA 2020 are unique and each state is governed by its own election law in this respect;

3. It won't turn the election for Trump.
