The only one being intolerant here is you, trying to lump me in with whatever ilk to whom you're referring without explicitly naming anyone or providing proof that I'm indeed racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic, or whatever other catcall is being used this week.
I've got an even better example of someone who truly earned forgiveness. Read about John Singleton Mosby, known during the Civil War as, 'The Gray Ghost". He fought for the South, but afterwards became a firm believer in the ideals of racial justice and equality. A good friend of President Grant, he worked long and hard to defend blacks from the depravations of his former comrades. His story is one we would all do well to know.
