The reason I said that conservatives like to dodge questions on their wild claims is because, in my experience, I've seen many conservatives online who will make preposterous, outlandish claims like "Ilhan Omar is an American traitor" without substantiating it or giving an invalid substantiation. Of course, this is only my personal experience, just like how your argument to the contrary is, and is not data. In retrospect, maybe I should have said, "at least in my experience, conservatives like you fail to provide evidence for your claims. I wouldn't expect any better."

1. Your first piece of “evidence” is just Omar saying that when we find instances of institutional racism, we must combat that. Not only is that not traitorous (she's criticizing the country in order to make it a better place; it's a necessary component of patriotism), it's also correct. An overwhelming amount of sociological studies have proved the undeniable fact that there is systemic racism in the US.

2. Your second piece of "evidence" is just Omar making sense. You shouldn't be a president while simultaneously having a huge business. This provides a huge conflict of interest. How this is indicative of traitorous intent is beyond me.

3. Your third piece of "evidence" was wildly exaggerated and twisted. Nowhere in the clip did omar ever say she supported al qaeda. In fact, she has roundly denounced terror groups in the past, and is heavily critical of Saudi influence in the US, given that Saudi Arabia is the world's largest arbiter of terrorism. On the contrary, Trump loves saudi arabia and gave the Saudis a multi billion dollar weapons deal.

4. Your last piece of "evidence" was horribly contextualized. In the full interview, the interviewer asked omar about islamophobia. He said that some people use fear to justify their islamophobia. Omar responded by first prefacing that the threat posed by white nationalists has surpassed the threat posed by islamist extremists, and thus should be more worried about. This is a factually correct statement. Then she said SARCASTICALLY, that if fear was really the metric that people use to justify restrictive and regulatory measures on a specific group of people, then people should have profiled and monitored white people. Again, it was to point out a double standard, and the part about white people was said SARCASTICALLY. Conservatives like you will use mental gymnastics to twist and distort everything Ilhan Omar says to push the false narrative that she's some traitor. Its ridiculous.

Just because racism on paper has been made illegal, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist anymore in our institutions. Centuries of slavery and discrimination have longstanding effects today. There is also implicit racial bias as well. And the drug war was specifically designed to target blacks. And the criminal justice system disproportionally affects blacks negatively. And there are racial disparities in the jury system. Sentencing is disproportionally harsher for blacks. You see where this is going.
