I will never understand the argument against Voter ID.

There isn't an argument against voter ID. Just nonsense wrapped in the standard claims of racism.

Apparently the argument is that brown and black people are too stupid to workout how to find a post office and write their own names and address on the I.D form within a 4 year period... But apparently capable enough to know who they're voting for and show up at the voting booth on the correct day..

Okay, I can see that. No doubt the poor face more hurdles. But how is this a race issue? I really don't have much empathy for people that can't manage to get ID, honestly.

Ya know there are only 15 states that DON'T require ID right? Some of those are Blue States and no one is claiming racism in those states.

It is illegal. Fortunately, the claim is false. Yes, in 2016 about half a million jurors were disqualified from jury duty but were not registered voters.

Summary:

From 2016-17 449,404 were disqualified from jury duty for not being U.S. citizens. But that doesn’t mean that those rejected juror candidates were registered to vote. The DMV has a "motor voter" program that automatically registers eligible driver’s license applicants unless they opt out. Sometimes, people will inadvertently mark themselves down to register to vote and it’s possible that the lists courts receive from the DMV include these individuals. The California Secretary of State office then reviews the lists and cancels requests to register to vote from people who aren’t eligible. Therefor, the claim is false.
