I am in several high risk groups to the current virus. I assume if I get it, I won’t make it. But though my quality of life is greatly diminished due to my health and now the new Corona virus, I still consider myself a free man so the most important quality still exists. Better to die free than live a slave to another and all that.

See, because, I know of four politicians who are pushing to expanding access to healthcare, which would increase both life security AND quality of life for several people, including yourself apparently. I don't think there's anything moot about it.

I also know of 4 politicians that want that. Along with free higher education, educational debt relief, open borders, sanctuary cities, the insane new green deal etc

Technically from a dead person’s viewpoint, life here is likely moot. I have coverage as I worked and paid into the system. Sure, I have deductibles, copays, and co-insurance but that means I have skin in the game which forces me to make smart choices when it comes to services, equipment, and medicines. Besides, you know the politicians and their families would be at the head of all the medical lines, right? It wouldn’t be a fair system, either.

Physics taught me matter and energy are interchangeable and you cannot create something from nothing. So forgive me for arching an eyebrow when I hear “free” about anything. There are always costs including both hidden and unintended.

What? Pregnant women aren't living in a cave; they see doctors, family. caregivers, they need groceries, they need pharmacies. It's almost certain that someone you know has regular contact with a pregnant woman who wants to keep the baby right now.

Funny you should say that. Originally I was looking for pictures with more of the better known members of the Democratic Party such as Biden and Pelosi et al. Couldn’t find an acceptable ‘all encompassing’ one and didn’t want to create one. The picture I used was easily accessible and understood as Socialist.
