I note that those who have their panties in a bunch now, had no problem using a term known as SARS, and didn’t use the term Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus.

And those same people who are offended today had no problem referring to the MERS Virus instead of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome. And they have no trouble using the term German Measles. Funny how that was not racist but Asian Flu, or the other commonly used terms are considered racist by those who are easily triggered.

If it's truly as bad as you say, eyes shut, and I'm not saying it isn't, then the problem is at a much lower level than Trump using a politically incorrect term. If even 1/10th of the effort put into the non-stop attacks on Trump, were put into an effort to actually solve an issue like racism, maybe some real headway could be made.

Racism wasn't a problem for decades until Obama came into office. Since then, democrats seem very emboldened and racist.

The riots happened not because of actual racism, but because the police officers involved in the beating got off without any punishment. Were they racist? Probably. At least they were at minimum, bigoted. However, it was also known after some research and info on Rodney King being released, that King was high on drugs (not marijuana) and was acting violent toward the officers. Did he deserve the beating? Obviously not, and that's where their bigoted/racist opinions came into play.

All that being said, with exceptions such as this, racism was not a major issue in this country on a violent scale until Obama took office. I know, white people being discriminated against isn't really racism since white people gave them shit in the past...yada yada.
