Hey Octavia, good to see you again! Happy New Year!
As for your question, here are the top verses that I think are the most relevant per a study done with my Church's pastor (in other words, instead of broad claims of the Bible like: all life has value). I should point out that I forewent copy pasting all the verses so this is not some long drawn mess but rather left my Pastor notes of what to glean from said passage. Feel free to google any verses that tempt you though.
Exodus 21:22 - Notice the crime for a "child" born prematurely.
Psalm 139:13, Isaiah 44:24 - The english version, God recognizes life in the womb as he "formed you in the womb." The Hebrew makes this even clearer with the language.
But the best in my opinion, comes from the new testament for us Christians:
Luke 1:41-44 - "The infant leapt in her womb." Not the fetus, or cluster of cells, the infant jumped in her womb. Furthermore, not a few sentences later, Elizabeth repeats the sentiment when she says "the infant in my womb leapt for joy."
Those are my personal favorites. I am sure there are more but that is just what I wrote down when I studied it a bit.
Now, don't get me wrong, Obama is more than welcome to become a Christian in my mind and surely God does love Obama. My point simply remains that his claim to be Christian is incredibly thin at best considering the actual actions he takes. But yeah, let me know if you have any thoughts, I would love to keep the conversation going!
