I'm afraid you're taking this the wrong way than intended. People don't jokingly ship them because homosexuality is funny. People jokingly ship them because the idea of them being in a relationship is funny.
No offense, but a lot of right-wing memes on this site, including this one, scream "I'M PROUDLY PART OF THE HERD MENTALITY BECAUSE I HATE LIBERALS". These memes focus too much on making the left-wing look stupid by any means necessary rather than providing actually good arguments. So, as a result, the arguments made in these memes have more holes than a cubic foot of swiss cheese. But whatever works to OWN the liberals, eh? Who needs actually well thought out political arguments that will make people question their stance? That sounds boring!
What I'm saying is, get out of the herd mentality and put some actual fact-based arguments into your arguments. Then, people would take you seriously.
Also, tagging "liberal homophobia" is probably one of the stupidest "no u" arguments I've seen in a long time. You are an adult. You are smart enough to know better than this.
