All American's should provide proof of citizenship going back 10 generations, otherwise they lose their citizenship. Sounds fair.

Ending birthright citizenship would make life a much greater hassle for 99% of Americans without providing much corresponding benefit. I'll concede that "anchor babies" are a thing, but not a big enough thing to justify this.

And as others have said, you'll need a constitutional amendment to do that. Good luck with that.
