Delayed response because I somehow didn't see the notification. Now, I'll grant certain actions that have been done are more directly harmful. However, you don't think being told you are too stupid to think and vote for yourself because of the color of your skin is just as harmful as being denied the right to vote, or that it falls under harassment and intimidation?

The mindset behind each of them, including the murders (lynching IS murder, so you were just artificially expanding your list there), is equally as racist as the rest. Fortunately, people can't be punished for what they think, only for their actions.

It would be nice if we could punish racists just for thinking racist thoughts, but "Thinkpol" is a horrifying Pandora's Box that we /do not/ want to open, ever.
