Apparently transparency is one sided.

Man. Y'all are some serious lock-steppers. Mitch the Turtle comes out and says "attack the process" and here you are.

Attacking a process you don't understand.

Out of curiosity, do you fetch Mitch his slippers when he comes home at night?

Why not conduct the inquiry out in the open? Put it all out on the table for everyone to see. Daylight is the best disinfectant. What are y’all afraid of?

What you have stated is exactly what the trial is for. All the evidence is brought out. It's all stated plainly. Everyone has equal access to it.

This is the investigation.

Evidence is being gathered.

Do the cops share what evidence they've gathered with someone they are investigating?

Nope.

Grand Jury's listen to the testimony of witnesses behind closed doors. No lawyers for the defense or even the witness are allowed inside the grand jury room.

This is exactly the process that's happening with Trump.

Evidence is being gathered. Witnesses are being interviewed in a closed room. The person under investigation is not allowed to know what's going on.

Because if they did, they could interfere with the investigation and thus Obstruct Justice.

BTW, three different committee's are conducting this investigation. 3. Half of each of those committee's is staffed by Republicans.

That means almost 25% of all the Republicans in the House are already in the room.

Now, I heard Mitch's feet are cold. You better go get those slippers.

Upvote! It’s about time that the Republicans did something to fight back. All of their fingers must be tingling pretty badly after sitting on their hands for 2 years.

To which the democrats said: "OK"
to which the republicans replied: "OH MY GOD YOU SHOULD BE KEEPING IT A SECRETE"

You know that there are 57 Democrats and 47 Republicans who are allowed into any impeachment hearing, right?

If there aren't Republicans in the room, it's not because they're being excluded. It's because they're too busy engaging in pathetic theatrics to do their actual job.

Yes, there are, but don't you think the entire process deserves some scrutiny? The reason the dems used shifty Schiff is because the intelligence committee can meet behind closed doors, meaning the press and the public have no way of knowing what's going on.

Plus, and this is really important, Schiff is controlling the entire process to the point that the republican members cannot call any witnesses. How can the process be impartial if the only person calling witnesses is a self-admitted Trump hater? The dude spent over two years telling us over and over, that he had the proof that Trump colluded with Russia. Where is it? Show your proof, Schiff.

And now, the pretense for using the intelligence committee instead of the judiciary committee, where any rational person would agree is where an impeachment inquiry should take place, is gone. The CIA link to the whistle-blower is no longer relevant, removing any reason for the inquiry to take place in intelligence. And now, since it was discovered that the whistle-blower had ties to Schiff, the testimony has been cancelled by... yes of course, Schiff.

None of this is in dispute, and should be of concern to anyone who cares about a fair process, and more importantly, not establishing precedent for the abuse of future presidents, regardless of party.

Anybody who thinks Schiff is conducting an impartial investigation is deluding themselves.

The rules are being followed as they have always been. Changing the rules to suit the needs of Trump is silly.

Look, ANONYMOUS, you don't even have the balls (courage, if you're not male) to use a made up screen name, so you're in no position to be telling people anything as far as I'm concerned.

But since you seem to think you know what's going on, tell me, do these rules require that the hearings take place in the intelligence committee, chaired by a publicly avowed Trump-hater? If so, maybe they've been doing it wrong all along, because in both the Nixon and the Clinton cases, the judiciary committee first held an investigation and recommended articles of impeachment to the full House.

Please, for one second try to convince me that if president Obama, or another dem president that you liked were being given the same treatment as Trump, you would find it reasonable and fair? I would really like to see you convince anyone of that. It should be good reading, so please, wow me. That's a polite request, btw.

Ask the republicans about the rules since they made them. And Clinton was held to the same rules when he was impeached. You all sound like a bunch of whiny snowflakes.

Look everyone Fat Elvis says I don’t have balls.

And yet the moment they did make everything public the republicans imidatly stated saying, "Why are they making all this public they should be keeping it in a secrete undergound hearing."
