Biden claimed he never discussed his son's Ukraine business- then the photo showed up. Biden gets put in charge of China policy by Obama- son Hunter gets 1.5 billion for his investment firm. Biden gets put in charge of Ukraine- son Hunter gets put on an energy company board for over $50,000 a month. Biden in charge of Afghanistan reconstruction- brother gets contract for construction though he is not in the construction business. Biden himself gets $900,000 from Ukraine energy company. Yeah, Trump is dirty.

I think politicians should avoid even the appearance of impropriety. They likely hired Hunter Biden because he was the son of Biden, so I object to that. However, the story that Trump is pushing has been debunked many times. The investigation into the Ukrainian company started before Hunter joined, and it was over before Joe Biden had the prosecutor fired for being too lax.

I am not absolving the Biden of all responsibility but Trump's claims are largely unfounded. The fact that Trump's children work in the White House also without any kind of experience, and nobody is giving a damn about the emoluments clause, means they are raking in large amount of money too.

Trump Jr. has the qualifications to serve; the others not so much. I agree that people in 'public service' who come out wealthy are definitely taking advantage of the system.

President Trump donates his whole salary. His children who work in the WH are unpaid advisors.

As far as qualifications, I would say that both Don Jr. and Ivanka are more qualified to advise the President than Hunter was to be on the board of a gas company for which he had no industry experience, didn't speak the language, and was a known drug addict.
