Socialism has the same end result as Nazism. The path to the end may be different, but it ends the same for the people it is forced upon.

Socialism is and was used to get the party in the door. No one party ever ran on "Fascists" principles. But Socialism upends the government in such a way that dictators can pry their way in. I believe that's what happened in Russia and in Germany, with two different endings. Germany went Fascist, while Russia went Communist. Either way, Socialism is a temporary system that fails, leaving the door open to an authoritarian regime. That's why America should stay as far from that rabbit hole as possible. We already have the recipe for disaster brewing in us with this trend toward populism among politicians.
