Obama did not enrich Iran financially, and his Iran Nuclear Deal froze progress on the road to nuclear arms.
Obama placed the highest level of sanctions on Iran at that point, forcing them to the table. Although the agreement offered eventual easing of sanctions, the US did not ease them nor did it engage Iran in any economic activity. Why Iran signed it in exchange for basically nothing mystified everyone.
Trump refused to sign it last year, and yet still Iran kept to its end of the deal, as verified by our European allies and whomever else.
Trump has lashed out at Iran even prior to the election, and has only racheted up the rhetoric since. Constantly making threats against them because baby BiBi NetanyaWHOTHAHECKISTHISGUY? doesn't like them because they, um, almost sorta pose a, um, potential danger that has yet to come even close to anything other than a rallying cry for the silly mob in marches in Iran let alone materializing IS kowtowing - unless threatening to go to war on behalf of a corrupt leader of a dot on the map is a thing the US does often.
PS: Rumor has it they freed the hostages of 1979, so all this is for naught, but yadda yadda fake nooze.
