In almost every case, yes. Why? Because to compare Trump (yes, that's what we're really getting at here, right?) to the Nazis only shows the utter and total ignorance of what the Nazis were about, and the tactics they used to achieve their aims.

To compare someone like Trump (or the generic "political opponent") to the Nazis does nothing more than minimize the absolute evil that the Nazis were (or I guess, "are" since we still have some running around today.)

So, to make that comparison shows nothing but ignorance, and those who do it should be ashamed of themselves for making Nazi's look less evil.

There is a difference. No one is pushing nazi ideals (Besides a few radicals) where actual communism is being pushed in higher education and now even politics with little push back.
