As for leprosy, it only ever seen in the USA among those people who eat armadillos.
In Texas it shows up in folks who eat "Hoover pigs".

I really have no problem in changing our laws. That would be better than government sanctioned orphaning by taking kids away from parents never to be seen again.

Many of these children aren't the children of the adults they're with. They're being used in the sex trafficking business and for leverage at the border.

But let's just say for the sake of argument, all if not most of these children are the children of the adults they're with. When a parent breaks the laws here in the States, do the children go with their parents in prison? Absolutely not. They either live with another family member or they're given to the state.

Kids have been taken from parents who have LEGALLY crossed the border and turned themselves in to claim asylum. They will never see their kids again because there is no way to find a parent 1000's of mile away who has been deported while their kid is 1000's of miles away from the border in a state where the U.S. gov has shipped them off to.

This administration created this policy. This admin created no recordkeeping to keep track of parents, locations and has no idea how to get some of these kids back where they belong.

There is no way to backtrack this any other way, it is government sanctioned orphaning.

A wall is not stopping people claiming asylum. Most of those crossing the border today to it at border crossings and directly walk right through. A fence will do nothing to stop that.

I don't really have a problem with a change in asylum rules. The wall debate has clouded the asylum issue. Do any of us know international norms related to asylum and whether or not we can even change the rules? I don't. We're too busy talking about a meaningless wall (meant to satisfy the base) that will not stop a single asylum seeker.

That's false. Most third world children are not vaccinated. If they were they wouldn't be carrying diseases this country had ended. Measles were all but gone for a couple decades until recently there's been an outbreak on the west coast. A combination of parents not vaccinating their children because "da big bad pharmacy companies are trying to get us..." and third world immigrant children who aren't vaccinated being let illegally into the country in sanctuary cities.

So many things wrong with your statement. Herd protection only works if everyone who can be protected is protected. There are plenty of Americans who cannot be. Immunization against measles only works if 19 of 20 people are immunized. We have too many states claiming, "states rights" and not forcing people to immunize.

What your statement is saying. "People from below America are dirty, nasty and are not immunized and are infecting us with disease".

In reality, people from different parts of the UK are immunized at different rates. People ALL OVER THE GLOBE are immunized at different rates. It is only through our own stupidity that we are being infected and it is happening mainly in areas of states rights and large populations who are not immunizing their kids.
