And, why should the border be closed. Illegal immigration is going down and they dont commit crime higher than native born citizens. The point is they commit crimes. Eliminate the criminals coming across the border and you lower the crime rate overall. How is this difficult to understand for some people? The way you make it sound, just because they don't commit as many crimes as legal citizens, we should just let them in.

I agree with border security. Trumps villainization of them has made it a partisan issue. Obama was strict on illegals. A wall may not be the most effective, but I think we should have fencing.
They arent the reason the some Americans are poor. They dont take our welfare to a degree that they are the root of as many problems as people may make them seem.

Dude...they have taken over the housing construction industry. They start their own business hire illegals, and undercut all the legitimate businesses. Since they don't pay taxes, they can afford to work dirt cheap. They're a nightmare for small businesses that play by the rules and then go under because they can't afford to do the work builders are asking them to do.

The only reason they work so hard for cheap is because, as an illegal immigrant, they have no grounds to demand better pay and working conditions.

The reason nobody would work on the farms is because of the hard work and low pay. Pay a high enough wage and Americans will gladly work on the farms. Of course our food prices would go up. Also, all farmers would need to pay market wages but too many of them undercut the job market by hiring illegals who are being exploited by employers taking advantage of their circumstances.

The thing is that when illegals are taken away, people still wont work even for higher prices. You have to go to a farm in California and pick oranges 24/7. What American would do that? Then again you do make some sense. That was like coal mining work.

An able body, unemployed American without welfare would do it. Why do you think Mexicans are willing to do it?

The American farmer has been on welfare since the Dust Bowl. Farming subsidies are why Americans are so fat and lazy. Even having nothing to do but driving the tractor around at mudding events and telling Juanita to give you head or you give her to La Migra while you cash that gov't check isn't enough to prevent Farmer Ted Jr and Becky Sue from selling the farm to corporate farmers or to real estate developers. Air conditioned cubicles where you can piddle your day away on FB yapping about illegals snatching jobs is the way to go.

Half of the farms receiving Federal Gov't subsidies have a household income of $150,000 or higher- hardly poor - so that's $10 billion additional in their pockets. The 10 richest farms have recieved $1.8million or more ANNUALLY for the last 10 years.
