Custom image uploads could be anything so we need to be confident they aren't adult content. If the image passes google safe search with a perfect score we can automatically feature it, otherwise a moderator has to review it.
For demotivationals we weren't actually doing the safe search check, it was only enabled for memes. It's enabled now though so these should be approved faster in the future.
I assume /when/ a meme is submitted, custom or otherwise, also has something to do with it, as I've had custom memes feature less than 5 minutes after submitting, and I've had non-custom memes take hours to feature.
Thanks for the explanation. I appreciate the work you guys do I'm sure it's a tedious job sometimes. While I have your attention is there a list of streams? Would like to see if any pique my interest.
Aw, I was just messin'. I don't really care. Seems not a lot of people on here do either since you're on the front page. But that is just my hypothesis. Here is to hoping you make it to the top! :)
